the proc quite good...better compare to x1 n htc touch pro...but too bad, the ram js 128mb only...even touch diamond higher...nway, as long it wont lag, its ok...who knows, samsung might optimize this omnia... btw, higher ram better or higher cpu better?
isnt it like computer? but i think both balanced out is the best
This is touted as "Iphone killer", and it is launched the same week as Apple Iphone 3G.
However, Samsung probably has not expected Apple to slash Iphone price so much. Although initially Iphone street price may be higher than the list price of USD 199 (8 Gb version) due to great demand, it should still be very competitive.
If Samsng is to price i900 too high, Iphone 3G will be the killer, not the other way round.
Bring it on, competition, We love you!
I dont argue with u in terms of features, but Win Mo, IMO, sucks! It may looks like iPhone, but i hate Windows Mobile...
So sorry for XPERIA, not even out in the market, ppl already moved away from X1. Sony is sleeping.... Moto is dying.... Sams is attacking!
I wonder what happen to our "Mawi" phone brand....sudah masuk kubur ka?
Anyway, for mods...why is this i900 inside "Phone-Specific" thread? Why my i780 inside "PDA"? So double-standard...
I believe this i900 is "PDA" and not "Phone-Specific". And all PDAs out there is a phone altogether. Otherwise... omit "PDA" section and merge them into "Phone-Specific"... Just highlighting...

xperia x1 still hv some specs advantageous against the Omnia...when it launch...we can see how they compete each other including iphone 3G n HTC Touch Pro
i afraid this "if only" upgrade will consume much more battery + many other 3rd party common resolution 320x240 app couldn't be used
If most 3rd party softwares have common resolution of QVGA 320x240, will they even compatible with the Wide variant of QVGA, which is WQVGA at 240 x 400?
Here is a hands-on preview on Samsung Omnia User Interface and Program Menus.
I am quite convinced up until this stage that is will be my first PDA phone.
In retrospect, my purchase target of PDA phone keep changing over time: HTC Touch -> HTC Touch Cruise -> Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 -> HTC Touch Diamond -> Samsung Omnia i900
If something better announced, I might need to wait further. Sigh.
