Just to check w/ you all, did you all feel some plastic criky sound on the black surface just below the stylus hanging area on your omnia?It is just like the plastic surface not so solid can w/ lil move in feeling plus sometime can heard a ngek ngek sound.

i have the issues and FMG already replace the casing 3 times for me but prob still there. End up they say is like that 1 and ask me to check w/ others omnia owner.

u can install TCPMP player (make sure u get the one for WinMobile 6.1) and it will play all dix and xvid file with no problem

ohh.. one question.. to users who have the original samsung leather pouch (the one which can put stylus inside).. its damn hard to get the phone out once it is in. is there any technique to get the phone out easier?

Agreed.. hold the ends/edges with one hand, while the other hand gently pulling out the pouch or vice versa.
Anyway I am planning to get aftermarket leather casing preferably the flip type, PDAir any good?

they look really good and they have plenty of designs to choose from.....but a bit expensive though....

but if i had to buy my own casing.....would go for PDAir...... maybe i still might....once i wear out this one...

The original case is already showing signs of wear and peeling after slightly less than 1 month of use....and no i dont abuse my phones...

you may try melco leather case since it come with stylus slot which allow you to insert your bundle stylus on it.

If I am not wrong, it should be cost you ~RM110 to ~RM138. I am ordering mine and currently awaiting for it to arrive hehe!!

You may try the capdase silicon rubber case (look like leather design) which come with a front plastic plate to protect the front buttons as well as screen. It shoud be cost ~RM80-99. I saw it from the shop i order my Melco.

same here.. and some other users as well. FW issue. some say settings.

i din experience this problems since im using G4 firmware... and now using J1 firmware...

guys.. please excuse this question if it sounds too noob-like to u, but after upgrading firmware, is it normal if all settings go back to factory settings and installed apps also gone? like its reformatted..

Nope... seems din happen to me either in G4 or J1 b4.... i advise u to upgrade it to J1....

btw can tell how lagging izit?? izit because ur phonebook too many contacts?? try to clear off the memory n c if there is any difference...
