there are only 584 contacts in my phone list. including in the simcard theres arnd 700+ contacts. is that too much? the lagging is unbearable. for example, when i use samsung phonepad, i wanna type "S", the letter wont come out until abt 2 seconds or so. no such problem in h3. i noticed the interface for i3's phonebook is more lawa. could that have made the application heavier?

May i know what is the settings you used when using G4? What type of home screen, what you disabled, etc?

Bro, i guess we have the same problem. Mine is on the right side just beside the main menu button. but sometime after i press it for a while, it won't negk negk anymore... but after awhile, it will be there again lol...

is your omnia white color one? mine is white.

my 1 is black colour.

haii how come the exp omnia can allow to have such a prob!!!

did you complain to FMG?
any 1 else suffer the same prob as we need more ppls to complain to FMG on this issue?

I have send a complain mail to Samsung and hopefully will get some response soon.

I thoroughly checked my Omnia and there was no symptoms as you mentioned. My Omnia is only 2 weeks old, though.

I have same problem too...but no so obvious if u dont purposely test it

I'm planning to get Omnia from PDA Expert lowyat. They're selling 16Gb model at RM2890.00 & giving out 1Gb Memory card, Samsung pouch, Screen protecter & softwares.

But the warranty is from FMG & it's only for one year it seems.
They said FMG reduced the warranty from 18 months to 1 year only now.
He asked me to add 3% from the phone price to add warranty for another year.

Anyway, i got the price through the phone only.
I might get it cheaper if i walk in to the shop rite...

How does the pouch looks, is it the slip in model ?
Is there few models for the pouch.
Pls advise guys, i need to get one so i can join you'll....

Regarding the price I cant comment since I got mine at a fraction of the cost in neighboring country. Get them to deduct the 1GB memory and get something worthwhile. Software??? hmmm well i guess it's those Cra'cked ones.

Pouch I suppose it's the slip in version. I like it but it's a b**** sliding the unit in and out of it even after 2 months use - tight fit

Other pouches - still considering - i like the Beyza cases but only iphone compatible cases are available.

yahuuu successfully upgrade my omnia from G3 to J1, ugh a lot changes since my phone using the oldest firmware but confirm the wifi now doesn't get hot very fast

Just call up Samsung Customer Service and the officer mention that the complain is currently still in progress.

Anyway, I just receive few replies from the below list of users and is there anyone else who are having the same issues?

I'm getting it from PDA expert thinking they'll install ori softwares,since they're so reputable in PDA/PDA phone business...
Anyway, i need suggestions of softwares to install though.
Slip in type, thought can get something like the Melco side or top open cases...hisshhh....

i did not.. don't really have time to go to FMG. Lol at first i tot it was because of the white casing lol... damn!! its sound so cheap.. like cheap-cheap pda lol....

Ya loh, I worry is manufacturing defect for the phone body or mold.
If you are free then can log a complain to Samsung through their website or call them up for the toll free no but the best will be walk in FMG Service Centre to get it done.

Still waiting to see any one else kena the same issue. Really cannot accept a ~RM2.7k PDA had such as low quality material and assembly issues.

Hopefully all Omnia users can double check on their device and feed back to us ASAP.

did anyone realize that our phone will not auto rotate during incoming calls?
and did anyone having problem with their incoming call vibration, mine just vibrate without rhythm but in setting we can set how it vibrate

i hav a question....that is one time i was talking to my mum and taking down phone number on my phone using the keypad but once i finish the call ,the number is gone.......how do i actually call the number that has been type on the screen? and how do i use the number in sms to call?like nokia... when there is number in the sms and when u press the green button it will let u choose which number to dial...can omnia do that?thanks....
