My omnia is running on HI3 firmware. I got problem when using Garmin Mobile XT, it will took sometime to lock the GPS even in good weather with clear sky. Sometime took about 5 to 10 minutes to get the gps signal but once it get the signal in heavy rain also no problem it will stay connected. One more thing I am trying to install ms voice command for my omnia, manage to install the software but seems like the phone cannot hear my voice and I couldn't find any setting for microphone.

Not it's not custom firmware, but rather a leaked Samsung firmware..

i think they purposely leak it for ppl to be tester for the new release

Nope... Latest is DXHJ1 (if you know where to find it)

normally there wont be any huge differences in new rom. just try to monitor d battery life and also any bugs fixed compare to your previous rom

Cant help as not flashing any CSC b4..sorry bro

once you get the 3 files, use RAR to unzip it into 1 exe file then run it to flash your firmware to J1, i believe it will ask you to off your phone and then on back then it ill be auto discover your device. Just click Start and wait until you get the Job Done message on the processing bar.

After flash the full J1 firmware, you ill need the Grandpix software to flash only the DZJ1 CSC to your omnia. In the Grandpix, there is a option for you to select CSC or load the CSC file. After load it, just click detect device and follow by off as well as on your omnia which will allow the software to detect it. You may select flash immediate once detect the device.

Do correct me if I am wrong on the process.
