Cheers man.

I'll stick with what I'm doing. It's working for me so far.

Consequently, my 1RM DL was attempted that day @ 130kg (although I reckon I could've done more). My SLDL moved up all the way to 90kg x 8reps.

not to underestimate her, but i squatted 80kg and i'm a beginner...this is isolated case la dude...no need for a jaw opening lolz...and we dont know average squat weight for some of us here thus you shouldn't compared her with LOT OF US here... tongue.gif

she weigh 52kg.
how much do u weight?

by the way, my 1st time squat was 70kg and doing 10reps 3 sets.
2nd time squat with pizzaboy my spotter, i did 80kg 5reps for few sets.
so? beginner or not... she is still amazing for a gal to do squat her weight.
LOT OF US here are guys... she is a GAL, and 17 years old.
thats why its more of a jaw opening thing...
i couldnt bother if u do 80kg or 100kg coz u r a guy. simply that simple. =.=

i just saw a youtube post last nite.
a 50kg gal doing 120 or 130kg squat 1RM.
she competes with guys...
i think they compete their weight and their squats.
not sure how they do it... but she got 2nd place.

i miss squating sad.gif
i still remember squating 6 reps of 117kg
then i injured my left tendon when i tried to do 132kg till i can hardly walk down the stairs.
now,im afraid to do normal squat,just doing front squat.
front squat also like 60kg or if good mood then 70kg . tongue.gif
guys,when u guys squat,do u guys wear belt or anything? smile.gif

2nd, strength gains can sometimes come faster than muscular gains, so be patient.

3rd, you can't beat my biceps.
