afaik..PS3 can support the Size of 1TB but not the thickness...normal 2.5HDD is 9mm but 1TB is 12mm..donno the current 1TB already slimmer or not tongue.gif

got a question guys . what type of harddisc u guys using . i wanna upgrade my harddisc . gonna go to computer shop this saturday .. can u guys recommend me what type of excellent harddisc to use for the ps3 slim . tq smile.gif

type = SATA notebook HDD / 2.5" HDD
brand = depend to u..so far i trust into WD HDD

Get WD or Samsung or Seagate.

My original harddisk is Toshiba but i'm using Western Digital.

Make sure it's SATA and 5400rpm.

Good luck shopping for new hdd.. cool2.gif

let say if i have 5 profile and each have the psn games downloaded . how to backup all the games ? . because i pecah2 kan the profile for different account .. need to download back the games ?

donno about the current batch but the old 1TB is thicker than normal hdd...if not mistaken normal is 9mm while the 1TB is 12mm

i think i have read some where that 12.5mm cannot be fit into PS3..so most of them who are using 1TB put their HDD outside the case......but 1TB already release 1-2 years a go..perhaps they already reduce the thickness to standard 9.5mm

guys...jus to advice ....dont ever use WD scorpio with your ps3...it has some incompatibility issues and will fk up ur ps3...damn slow to read gamesaves and to install stuffs! wink.gif
