Added on April 4, 2011, 2:50 pmowh does this affect only SLIM or both FAT as well? i plan to get 1tb also. since the price is quite cheap nowdays

if you plan to get 1tb make sure it will fit because 1TB disk have a slight larger dimension and diameter

the maximum capacity for 2.5inch 9.5mm height disk is Western Digital Caviar Blue 750GB iianm. 1TB all 12.5mm height currently.

unless u want to go to 'unportable' route, by connecting the SATA connector inside the PS3 to a 3.5inch HDD, that one up to 2TB oso can tongue.gif

caviar blue hmm.gif hmm then it's an issue with 1tb atm
should wait till they produce one that can fit into the compartment then

i prefer one that can be place in the console. the outsource idea is a bit risky for me

nanti loli pegi cabut HDD masa tengah main GT5. menangis tak sudah ko laugh.gif

anyways, I guess 640GB is the highest we can upgrade without having any problems. Got people reported that Caviar Scorpio Blue has problems with crashing and loading the game. check previous page.

edit: it's Scorpio Blue. silap tengok.

edit 2 : Wait, it's gone from C-Zone pricelist. that 750GB. Problematic batch?

well, you will never know if scorpio blue hdisks causes problem or not until you try it yourself because some say no prob, and some say got prob and revert back to factory hdisk.

but what i know is that there are like 3 people already that's been pm'ing me and ask me hows the performance of seagate hdisks, and all i can say is, everything is perfect! no lags, probs whatsoever

so, seagate momentus da best! thumbup.gif

tak boleh kot. aku letak ps3 tinggi sket

btw baru perasan, semenjak upgrade HDD ni. mula la berlaku lampu kuning dan sebagainya
adakah ia menjadi punca PSU kekurangan kuasa untuk menjana tenaga CPU+GPU
