I stuffed Corsair Force 3 60GB on my new super slim. After my fat YLOD, scared already. Even though SATA-I is bottlenecking it but SSD runs a lot cooler.

Thinking of upgrading my 500gb to 1tb. I currently have 2 320gb hdd; my question is, when backing up accounts and downloaded games etc, can it be done with 2 hdd, continuing when the first one is full?

Thanks in advance.

you can only have 1 HDD to backup everything, else it would appear the message, your HDD capacity isn't enought for backup.

Sorry for reviving an ancient thread.
1. May I know whats the biggest HDD anyone installed in their PS3?
2. Whats the biggest ext. HDD that the PS3 can recognize?

I am using a PS3 Super Slim 500GB.
I removed the HDD enclosure from Seagate 2TB, STDR2000100 to swap with my PS3 HDD. The HDD inside is ST2000LM003.

Message from the PS3:
CODE
The installed hard disk is not supported.
You must install a hard disk that is compatible with this system.

Already formatted to FAT32 by using FAT32 Format
