What brand would you recommend me? And what is the biggest memory size available on the market right now? I'm using the 80GB model, music+video+game=not enough space. And if I have PSN games i bought from Lowyat, how would I get them back if its on a separate account?

pm me please

Must it be 5400 RPM? Cause I saw this YouTube video saying you have to use a 5400RPM.

i noticed my stock 120 giger for my slim, now laggy. I left my PS3 with my brother, he told me he cant even play Shank. Then I tried god of war 3, stutters like pirated media in the opening credit. sad.gif but not all games like that, only those which depend on the HDD. so, i backed up my data using the Back Up Utility onto my external HDD, which took like 3 hours of 72 gigs of data. I reformated the PS3 hdd. and then I restore the data back, ... from midnite last nite, and when I woke up this morning, still got 7% to go.. jezzzz THAT long.. later I balik I will update whether this solved the stuttering problem or not. lucky next week I am shopping either a 50giger or 750..

2.5" 500GB will have a scheduled market price drop sometime around the end of next month to mid-October.
However, I don't foresee prices dropping anything below RM170 for 500GB.
RM169 was the latest I heard of. I'll see it through until December when Gran Turismo 5 eating my remaining HDD capacity.

Its actually RM164 now, as of this week.
I didn't expect it'll plummet this fast.

WOW! I didn't know it dipped till RM164 as of today! If I'm not mistaken, internal HDD price fluctuates from time to time, right? It could go up either, if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, December awaiting!

For the last 6 months, HDD prices has only went one way: down.
By December? I think 320GB HDDs would be phased out even, since they're only RM129 now. Dirt cheap.

I see you have a personal assistant at home. NICE!

Huh? Yours is a 120GB HDD system, right? It came off as a 120GB as stock, right? What makes it "laggy" when it comes to play certain games? The more we discussed matters here, the more things I've learnt from time to time. Hmmm, should I just stick to 500GB HDD when the next round comes in December?

I noticed games from PSN which are installed in the HDD is a bit laggy, and yesterday I tried God Of War 3 also laggy. Even browsing the XMB also laggy. My avi movies also stutter. Really annoying.

I am planning to upgrade next week to 750, all the way! :yay: Ultimately, should that also wont solve the problem, I will just bring my PS3 to Sony nod.gif
