dear freinds from team B i offical announce that i am so f***ing sorry that i didnt come for training i had a problem with my steam:
it keep showing me a green box saying updating but the dam thing is just jam there, i tryed restarting pc, i tryed reseting ip hell i even tryed using my housemates internet, but noting works, trough out my frustrations i smsed jhonners, after reacing 11.30pm i was saying to my self wtf is jhonners doing not replying i checked my out box and to my suprise "message not send" then i tryed checking balance.... my credit time has expired. i srsly am sorry for that and i will make it on saturday even if god wants to give me a blow job.

Dear all,

Good practice session this week. I feel that everyone has gain a better understanding of small unit tactics as well as how and when to attack and when to defend.

Tournament day will be slight different. We may be used to playing with each other and on Saturday it will be 6 other different teams that we will be taking down, all with their own configs and tactics. Some teams maybe pros and some noobs. Keep your heads cool and don't let your tempers flair. Finger pointing and blaming others will be looked upon as negative karma for the team.

No matter who we play, remember your training and don't let your pub instincts take over. Stay as a team, play as a team and win as a team.

I can always be reached to discuss further on any strategy or tactics you wish to discuss. Feel free to pm me. 23 hrs to go till we rumble.

Hello all you F Word spewing Team B peoplez....and to Team A which I didn't get to talk to....Team B is an insane bunch man....

I really want to go tomorrow, but my parents would kill me. (I'm a mama's boy you see...) Anyway, hope team A can at least win pT* or kHZ

Okay here was what happened today, through my eyes~ lol.. First of all, it was great to see everyone, finally know how they all look like! Hehehe! Thanks Prawn for coming all the way up, and later on introducing everyone.

We kicked off with LYN++ A vs LYN++B.. bummer man, what a draft. LYN++ A goes forward.

LYN++ B has a match tommorow against PT I think.

LYN++ A proceeds to go against GAV, we didn't really know much about them. LYN++ A wins a straight game.

So tommorow LYN++ A vs kZh (i fergot the name, but they always go "MEDIC DOWNN!!!! GURAAHHHHHHHHH MEDIC DOWN!"

Darn it, I'm not happy with this loss.

Team A lost to Khz in the winners bracket finals. Khz is now on the grand finals, facing the winner from the losers bracket. Both team A and B is in the losers bracket. Team B will face PT* tomorrow earlier.

While this random team named GAV whom we trashed is facing YOUR clan which I think is finished with another random team named DESU, with the winner facing either team B, or PT*, depending on who wins.

Team A is guaranteed 3rd place now, and if we manage to defeat (Hopefully) the winner of Team B/PT* vs GAV/YOUR, we will be facing Khz again in the grand finals. Team B still has a change on getting 4th placing.

Current unfinished business will be:

YOUR vs DESU = Pending

GAV vs (YOUR/DESU) = Tomorrow

Team B vs PT* = Tomorrow

Winner of [GAV vs (YOUR/DESU)] vs winner of [Team B vs PT] = Tomorrow

Honestly speaking, I'm not too happy about the champion of the losers vs the champion of the winners, because we can definitely see who will come out on top. It's not exactly a fair way of judging. Anyway, I'll be uploading my share of the pictures soon, so stay tuned.

Maybe in the next post, I'll sneak some in while you're having training. I only just got back to Sunway about half an hour ago, Lexi was kind enough to give me a lift back to Sunway (THANK YOU LEXI! Tomorrow after tourney I treat you kopi :3)

I vouch for Team A to play against kHz again!

Though it may be tough, it's good experience and definitely a good change to beat them at their own game.

From what I noticed as a sideline spectator when kHz VS pT* is kHz had a hell lot of teamwork despite the screaming. When they called "REGROUP" they actually did. Not to mention their Heavy / Medic combo is seriously top-notch.

And please don't start screaming at me, this is what I personally thought after I watched the kHz VS pT* game and LYN++ Team A VS GAV. Both kHz and Team A has got skills. However, kHz's teamwork at the moment outweighs Team A. When Team A was playing against GAV, I noticed there wasn't any real gameplay. It was kinda like all for themselves.

So I say again, please don't fire me coz this is what I noticed when both teams were gaming. I really hope Team A's teamwork will suddenly be the pink elephant and surprise kHz. Then, LYN++ will see its true glory.

Keep it up guys! And see you on the servers.

ok, maybe the brackets are abit messed up. at least u get to play a second time or would u rather have played 1 match, lose and bye-bye.
think of it this way : u get to play another team even after u lost. more u play, the more experience u gain.

Not that i play TF2 or anything but i have played in tourneys for my clan before. CoD4, BF2, BF2142 and BF1942 and i like double-elims a lot. Takes longer but it turns out fairer for teams as you're given the chance if you lose to make some headway. Rather than single elims which are, "You lost? Okay, go home!" which can't really prove how good you are.

And because I'm made of awesome and win( though this isn't the proper forum for it)

jas... this bracket thing is all based on luck dude.. u guys pick the numbered papers on the table. so its not nice to blame the tourney. imagine if there is no tourney? every year there will be messed up brackets man... imagine wcg which they have 64 teams competing and has around 5 brackets (i think) they would not seperate the good teams sometimes. becoz its a draw. which teams go into which brackets and fights which team. believe me when im saying its all based on luck, ive been playing alot of tournaments for the past 8 years. I've seen all sorts of shits. hahaha its even funny sometimes.

i would rather you appreciate what he has done for the malaysian gaming community.

well, luck of the draw. in tournaments you dont get to choose who you go against. sooner or later you will HAVE to play against a good team. and with only 7 teams its gonna be sooner rather than later.

dont blame the format or organizers for using it. its hardly unfair. would you really have preferred single elim ? thats more unfair lor. imagine the top 2/3 teams all meet up in the 1st and 2nd match and losers go home straight. and some lucky randoms get to cruise through to the finals.


.. there have been alot of teams winning coming from the lower bracket. it has happened so many times before. just on friday, for the eswc qualifier, team LZ came from lower bracket to defeat hybrid (cs 1.6) twice to win the tournament. so yeah, its possible.
