QUOTE(evilpuppy @ Jun 18 2008, 11:46 AM) Yes ....choose what connection type between Diamond and pc...usb / bluetooth, and choose maxis internet then tap 'Connect' on the left softkey after that just connect your diamond to your desktop. This post has been edited by lester: Jun 18 2008, 11:59 AM |

QUOTE(Baronic @ Jun 17 2008, 11:59 AM) @another 78, u put in sim card and just follow instructions. dun worry need help can ask here, read your booklet though first. guess what? i sent my Touch Diamond for rom upgrade. Thanks Baronic. Do we need to upgrade our ROM? I'm planning to install a few software like currency converter, thesaurus/dictionary, age of empires to my TD.. do u suggest that i upgrade the ROM first or just play around with the device first. About the GPS thingy, I download the step by step text. which I found in this thread but after reading it, its kinda complicated |

those problems in TD all can be fixed by newer software, coz most of them is the ROM tweaking problems, still too new.. So the real problems is give HTC some time more to improve TD..

QUOTE(singleguy @ Jun 18 2008, 03:29 PM) After reading through the whole thread.. now makes me think should i give up my nokia and go for this HTC.... seems like alot of problem? i think it depends. as a happy diamond owner, i would recommend the phone but only to savvy smartphone type users. if you're looking for a simple phone to use then the diamond is probably not for you - not quite yet anyway.but in saying that, the cool factor of the phone is phenomenal. everyone in my office wants to have a play, even my boss who came from the UK. they are very impressed with the form factor and the boat load of features packed in. also the bugs with the current ROM shouldn't be a deal breaker. i would suggest that you go take a look at a real model, have a play with touch flo 3D and then read all the bugs that we've found. then you can easily make your decision. now that i've had the diamond for 2 weeks, and it has lost its initial novelty appeal, how do i like it? i still love it, except for the finger print smudges and that it sometimes doesn't wakeup properly during calls/smses and the memory leak (reset!). but do i think it was worth it to shell out more than RM2500 for it? hell ya! TF3D, the browser and GPS alone makes up for all the minor bugs! just my 2 cents... Added on June 18, 2008, 4:02 pm QUOTE(another78 @ Jun 18 2008, 03:13 PM) Thanks Baronic. I see.. well i've used iphone for quite sometime, before jumping to nokia , because i needed the 3g phone call. As you all know (iphone lauching soon), i was really turned off by the iphone lacking of front camera to make 3g calls... my only choice now is HTC.. Why.. i needed something pack.. i can jot down all my to-do-list, meetings, entertainments.. and able to sync with my laptop easily.. so i suppose this is the choice for now.. I know theres alot of other similar phones that can do this.. but the look of diamonds really turns me .. urm.. just say its good looking. hehe
Secondly.. any Mac user here? Any problem syncing with mac? This post has been edited by singleguy: Jun 18 2008, 04:50 PM |

forgot to mention the high-res screen as a very cool feature. can you imagine that less than 15 years ago, desktop PCs came with less resolution!
