yes u could hide the sim contact if you want to, but not the phone contact.

Show/Hide Sim Contacts - Registry Edit
i) Goto HKCU\ControlPanel\Phone
ii) Change value of "ShowSIM" to "0" (Disable), or "1" (Enable)
iii) Save and soft-reset

Someone confirm Touch Diamond support native *.mp4 or H264, capable of playing 640x480 resolution video with smooth 30fps. You can use "PSP to divx" (psp video utility) for testing.

Help! a new TD user here. I read all the thread but i cant find a solution for my prob. My phone auto pick up phone call when in pouch.

The prob is.. call comes,, it rang and some pressure to the screen it pick up! (pressure comes when it is in my pocket, ter-press it)

So is thr any method i can ask my TD to off its screen when the call come in? Or any other ways i can do this?

try checking one of the PHONE settings tabs

I've tried to play a .mp4 file with Coreplayer 1.2.5...
Video: MPEG4 Video (H264) 640x480
Audio: AAC 48000Hz stereo 127Kbps
... the result is extremely dissapointing.

Frames played : Frames dropped
Approx 1 : 10

no setting bout setting phone lock when calls in.. already tried all in PHONE tab. Thx anyway

or maybe you should try Slide to Unlock mean any incoming call you will only have to slide to answer your call, even you ter-press the screen your call wont be answer.

and yes, you can even change your favourite wallpaper. just simply overwrite your S2U2/GFX/wallpaper.jpg and there is an option for you to change your wallpaper from your My Picture.

Thanks bro....now I'm really in love wit my Diamond hehehe. Only sad thing is the batt really cannot last more than 18hrs but of coz I play heavily too. Thisi is my 2nd HTC the first was HTC touch dual which I sold off after 1 week, but diamond is really a gem

Really need much guidance here (very noob), what is the 1st thing to do to my TD?

congrat, and 1st things to do with your TD is ... hold it, stare it, smell it, rub it, kiss it, clean it (finger prints) , sleep with it ... kinding lar.

1st - to do is get your TD protected , skins or cases.
2nd - get your GPRS / MMS working, refer to your telco setting
3rd - get connected with your PC through Sync , refer to your installations CD and manual
4th - start to install your favourite applications.
5th - when times come you can start Flashing your ROM.
6th - after you get tired , then lelong to me.

hmmm coz like my old o2 mini very fast the battery draining... so i scare if i get same like PDA also the battery draining like mad... btw guys... does this TD same like iphone swipe side way will answer call ?

if u think battery will be an issue for u, stay away from diamond.

i've got the same problem. I've tried inserting my phone to the pouch the other way..meaning, the 'power' button faces the strap and the usb facing outwards. it works for me.

I think all PDA phone batt is horrible, even my NOkia N95 average use the batt hardly last me 48 hrs. But diamond if I set the backlight to dim then it last longer, nearly 36 hrs. The Bluetooth stereo headphone suxs power like hell too.

You can try the extended battery but it defeats the purpose of getting a TD.
