Yes, mine too. The magnet is just a very small piece attached somewhere in the casing to the left of the battery. Its not pulling the stylus strongly like it used to.

noone can do the test above for me? =.= try with ANY rom, and see what you get please. is the theme change working

Actually, the magnet is in the STYLUS. not in the PDA, so be careful where you put that thing!

Am on original 1.93..suprising, it does not allow me to choose the theme to window default, even after switching off TF3D. ALl other themes, no problem.

It is actually a small rectangle piece to the left of the battery and below the stylus (after you pulled it out). I know its there because it came out when I stick my stylus to the side of the casing and it came off and attached to the battery. Search for it yourself to confirm this, just remove the back casing and the stylus, you'll see it.

hmmm.. i think we're both right. There's a magnet inside the silo, and there's a magnet inside the stylus, that's why the stylus can stick to other metal objects like whiteboards, firereels, etc. etc.

But inside the silo there's also another magnet to give it the PULL that we feel when we insert the stylus in. Hmm... looks like it can get dirty, i have some grime stuck on the inner magnet. Maybe the person who was saying the magnet getting weaker also dirty?

im using SwiftBL v5.6, disabling TF3D change to Default Theme and my background also change to green instead black. maybe its your HTC Home ??
how bout remove it?

Hi my wife just bought the HTC Diamond on sat, RM2799 + free sonyericsson stereo bluetooth, anyway I need to find out 2 things.

1. How to watch flv files dl from net
2. How to set up MMS? and when I surf net or msn how do I know I'm connected to wifi or 3G assuming I manage to set up the MMS?

no its not HTC Home, i suspect its something to do with the version of Task Manager and Enlarge Start Menu. U sure no problem? Cuz i checked with Dutty and he said original rom got the problem wo.

do u have TF3D configurator installed as well? i'm trying to check the differences between swiftbl and dutty and ori and why the discrepencies.

@moorish, no pdas can play flv files as far as i know. MMS all u have to check with your service provider, give em a call and they'll guide u to activate etc etc. When you connect to 3G or GPRS your signal strength bar is modified to show 3G, or G for GPRS, or H for HSDPA connection active.

Added on August 18, 2008, 4:36 pmu can strengthen the magnet yourself wat. get another magnet. put it next to the stylus and make sure it attracts. now start rubbing it one way. not up down up down! keep going up. up. up. it should solve the problem. mind u it probably takes about 10 mins lol

i got TF3D Config Tool installed and no problem at all. i've even change my TF3D Themes to VadoFone Red. confirm no problem with SwitfBlade 5.6.

and yes, you can play flv using coreplayer v1.25
