If you can justify this to your manager, then yes.

But mostly manager will ask why does a GT need internet access at home?

Sorry if I'm intrusive. Just curious - how much does an Accountant or Senior Accountant with Intel Bayan Lepas make? Range also ok. Just want to have a rough guide.

Many thanks.

He asked a lot of technical questions on electronic designs until you can't answer him back. i asked him to google lolz

that was the last time i went for an interview unprepared lolz

It depends on the interviewer... My past 3 interviews with them is 2.5 to 4 hours smile.gif Average out around 3 hours.
Some of my friend just 40 minutes and get the offer smile.gif It really depends on your hiring managers and your performance at that time... smile.gif

Typically for fresh grad especially Graduate Trainee doesn't need very high requirement (At least with good looking result >2nd upper) and it is not hard to pass the interview

Normally will ask about your final year project and simple programming question such as sort number from big to small. If you forget the programming syntax, just draw a flowchart for them. tongue.gif

I didn't know when did I applied it. Perhaps during jobstreet fair last month where the visitors can write their information on the form given .. rclxub.gif . They offered Graduate Trainee Position and no information about the salary.

It's been 2 years since I've do some programming ... will take it as an experience of being interview by world class company .. quite expensive for the cost to travelling there from Selangor .. but I believes it'll be a worth experience thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Finally, were you got offered by Intel?

Do need to prepare interview question, normally in semiconductor or electronic application industry. or computer system, cannot avoid some source of technical question like Programming, Digital circuitry, Digital logic like And Gate Or Gate, fundamental of semiconductor like Diode, FET bla bla bla, and finally IQ question.

Don't worry some of the question may out of your skill, I am sure interviewer also don't expect you able to answer. Likewise in some IQ question. Because sometime is testing your personality also. But have some advice or warning here, don't be too clever or too stupid I am sure you got higher chance to got hire.

Just share my experience in my current comp interview last time, the interviewer ask me question on drawing circuit and fundamental of diode. The question pretty simple right? Drawing a circuit associate with diode, and question is, just draw a circuit and show him how to do a test. I even draw a simple circuit also kena goreng. Another one, what is diode characteristic, and why IV curve behave like this. Before I kena goreng, I feel lucky I was preparing well in diode things, but still, when I answer my interviewer about diode, he not only goreng me and keep on ask more difficult question.

The duration of interview took me 3 or 4 hours, and you know what interviewer said? I am not qualified as TE position, and simple diode knowledge also don't know. And he mentioned the circuit I draw totally screw up, the circuit cannot work and not even able to do testing. Hence he said he not sure whether I got chance to enter, but he feel I failed the interview.

I was very sad after this interviewed , felt like no chance already and continue suffer in VPT. Next day, freescale HR called me I was hired, I felt so surprise.

It really depend on the interviewer, but if you kena very bad, also don't feel so sad, there are a lot of opportunity outside than Intel or other company. But if you finally get hire, congratulation!

How was your interview? Care to share?

I'm going to interview tomorrow evening. They called me last Friday around 6pm and promised will email the details. Until now I still didn't received it. I dont quite grasp the job responsibilities on the phone since he spoke too long and fast. The only thing I understand that I'm applying for graduate program related with validation.
Can someone enlighten me? hmm.gif

Focus on each of the IT subjects that you have took during your undergrads study. Unless you didn't want to show your transcript. Be prepared to be asked a lot of question of programming (if you are under Software). How to apply software quality, how to secure your programming, Object Oriented Programming, inheritance, encapsulation, how to do testing, regression, what is data structure (pop in .. pop out), OS, SDLC and why it's important, waterfall, advantage and disadvantage of SDLC. What software that you've written and what type of language that you master. Why do you preferred the language. And the important thing, your .NET and C++ understanding.

Those under pure Software Engineering will have a problem to answer the programming question as our courses are more on the software design, project management and software management , but those from IT or mixed (IT + CS) should be no problem as they are more on the programming sides.

Parking going to be hard, ask someone to sent you.
