Fresh grad they didn't expect much from u.Pointer is important for 1st job in Intel. QUOTE any tips? My interview this coming Thursday .. I think focus on your 3-4 years studies. |

QUOTE(caterpiez @ Jun 4 2012, 07:06 PM) How was your interview? Care to share? Hi, u pass your interview already? How was it?I'm going to interview tomorrow evening. They called me last Friday around 6pm and promised will email the details. Until now I still didn't received it. I dont quite grasp the job responsibilities on the phone since he spoke too long and fast. The only thing I understand that I'm applying for graduate program related with validation. Can someone enlighten me? Are you interview under system validation position? |

QUOTE(caterpiez @ Jun 9 2012, 08:38 AM) I think it something like microchip verification engineer. I don't think I pass the interview. The interview quite long almost 2 hours. The interviewer really nice guy. He asked the question mostly related to computing system design. He also give me chance if I didn't know the answer. He asked around 5 question and I only managed to answer 2/3 correctly. Since I didn't remember most the answer, we change to psychology. Maybe he just want to know about my attitude. It quite fun since the interview held up at PG12 a.k.a IAG building Does HR contact u back? How was the interviewer given u comment?Maybe u can try to wait 2 weeks la. That's my opinion. Cheer~~ =) |

Actually nowadays Intel offer many GT for fresh grad especially in PG12.
Since they hire a lot GT, many fresh grad compete each others, how much possibility GT can convert to become permanent engineer? Another question, normally PG12 is it for design and validation? |

QUOTE(ibmsege @ Jan 23 2013, 08:51 AM) what you mean hardware engineer? designing a chip is hardware engineering. Your hardware refer to a silicon come back and do the testing? or before the silicon phase? I prefer to know all the details that you mentioned. I'm still blur to hardware engineer job scope in Intel. Is it Intel doing digital only? |
