QUOTE(RaymondLam @ Jun 9 2012, 01:28 AM) Hi, u pass your interview already? How was it? Are you interview under system validation position? I think it something like microchip verification engineer. I don't think I pass the interview. The interview quite long almost 2 hours. The interviewer really nice guy. He asked the question mostly related to computing system design. He also give me chance if I didn't know the answer. He asked around 5 question and I only managed to answer 2/3 correctly. Since I didn't remember most the answer, we change to psychology. Maybe he just want to know about my attitude. It quite fun since the interview held up at PG12 a.k.a IAG building I really wish I can go working there next month

I think u should apply for Graduate trainee if u want to be permanent employe under Intel..graduate trainee is some sort of probation period. Then after 1 year, you will be offer permanent job.if u apply for outsource company like NCS,your chance to be converted to intel permanent employee is very hard

Only when you started fresh in INTEL thinking you cant move up further or you wanna start doing business then you leave your managerial post in INTEL. TRUE STORY

I believe the answer already long enough for you to understand. Short story, it's hard for the managers to leave their posts. Even though they may, got > 9999 of internal people waiting to takeover the hot seat.

Actually nowadays Intel offer many GT for fresh grad especially in PG12. Since they hire a lot GT, many fresh grad compete each others, how much possibility GT can convert to become permanent engineer?
Another question, normally PG12 is it for design and validation?

Yeah just increase within this / last year.
Graduate Trainee (GT) is just like the other company probation period. If within 1 - 2 years u are not able to convert to permanent then you have to leave. The salary is same as regular fresh graduate, with lesser benefit and bonus. Intel normally hired fresh grad as GT instead of permanent directly.
