Intel interview was the hardest interview i went. last time they had a walk-in interview at MMU for post grad scholarship. so thought of just trying my luck. kena goreng like hell by design manager Mr Chua if not mistaken.
He asked a lot of technical questions on electronic designs until you can't answer him back. i asked him to google lolz

that was the last time i went for an interview unprepared lolz

Finally, were you got offered by Intel?

Do need to prepare interview question, normally in semiconductor or electronic application industry. or computer system, cannot avoid some source of technical question like Programming, Digital circuitry, Digital logic like And Gate Or Gate, fundamental of semiconductor like Diode, FET bla bla bla, and finally IQ question.

Don't worry some of the question may out of your skill, I am sure interviewer also don't expect you able to answer. Likewise in some IQ question. Because sometime is testing your personality also. But have some advice or warning here, don't be too clever or too stupid I am sure you got higher chance to got hire.

Just share my experience in my current comp interview last time, the interviewer ask me question on drawing circuit and fundamental of diode. The question pretty simple right? Drawing a circuit associate with diode, and question is, just draw a circuit and show him how to do a test. I even draw a simple circuit also kena goreng. Another one, what is diode characteristic, and why IV curve behave like this. Before I kena goreng, I feel lucky I was preparing well in diode things, but still, when I answer my interviewer about diode, he not only goreng me and keep on ask more difficult question.

The duration of interview took me 3 or 4 hours, and you know what interviewer said? I am not qualified as TE position, and simple diode knowledge also don't know. And he mentioned the circuit I draw totally screw up, the circuit cannot work and not even able to do testing. Hence he said he not sure whether I got chance to enter, but he feel I failed the interview.

I was very sad after this interviewed , felt like no chance already and continue suffer in VPT. Next day, freescale HR called me I was hired, I felt so surprise.

It really depend on the interviewer, but if you kena very bad, also don't feel so sad, there are a lot of opportunity outside than Intel or other company. But if you finally get hire, congratulation!
