actually, grace have 5 fingers too.

this was deliberate, as describe by james cameron himself. all avatars have 5 fingers, while all original na'vis have 4.

just watched this at AEON without 3D. Klang area no 3D cinema...

Nice movie if u ask me, especially after u watched the shitty Treasure Hunter

The story is fiction and children can understand, the message is environment is part of our lives, though we can't connect like them "primitive" we do know about the food chain, life cycle and are damaging our own world.

It is a movie and Star Wars is a commercialized movie with merchandise and fan club and to further ripping money from the the market, the story go backward.
In terms of spaceship design, look at 2001 space odyssey way back in 1968 and you won't believe that it was that old.

this movie is making fun of MALAY people!! i regret paying to watch it in 3D. i wont recommend it to other people. i boycott this movie !

My 5 year old kid really love this as much as all the PIXAR movies. As the movie is almost 3 hours, I thought he'll be bored and ask to go home, but instead his eyes were locked to the screen till finish. Since then, everyday he keeps asking for the blu-ray. So we decide to watch it again this Friday, a second time for my wife and him, and a third for me.

Avatar likely to win oscar for best effect, but best moviei dont think can get nominated.

i just watched this movie...the most awesome movie that i have watched since the dark knight..

haha.. u better have your bucks ready.. as in the techniques by them ...

oh crap, & i thought the sinking ship serves only as a back story to the main story of a fictional love story of jack dawson & rose. i been had then.

Sure it was entertaining in grandeur, the moon, the sci fi, the effects....
but the movie didn't move emotions of the viewer, well very little impact, well maybe to some when


when watching did we rally in our hearts that we were on the indigenous people NA'vi side against the human invader's ? not really right?

i'm sorry, i know many of you are gutted that not all are in favour of the JC's Avatar, i wasn't even made to hate the character of the Miles Quaritch (supposedly film's main antagonist) as oppose to maybe district 9's, Colonel Koobus Venter (many of us cheered when that character got ravaged by aliens in the end)

sure, avatar may boss their position at no 1 at box, it's however not on my list of rememberable movies in years to come.

go ahead, watch it (avatar) in 3D, & be awed by the movie technical effect brilliance's.

the plot is paper thin, but still should watch it the see cinematic history being made.

Watched the Avatar 3D.... Excellent graphics/animation, but so so storyline and very predictable..
