both equally small to me. so i suggest to better have it at imax(if they still exist) because when you have 3d, small screens do not justify the movie and owh, it spoils your mood and the whole experience. total waste of rm17.

The only choice we have here is the IMAX-sized screen at BTS, which I'm not sure has 3D, or the usual 3D digital projections in the usual GSC/Cineleisure halls. Assuming the IMAX screen is hopeless, which is the best altrenative?

Some infos on 3D screening cinemas:

QUOTE
James Cameron's "Avatar" takes its 3-D movie experience to an additional four cinema locations in Melaka, Kuantan and Kuala Lumpur. Situated at Berjaya Times Square, The Gardens, East Coast Mall and Dataran Pahlawan, these new locations add to the current list of Cathay Damansara, GSC Mid Valley, GSC Signature, GSC Pavilion, GSC 1 Utama, GSC Berjaya Times Square, GSC Gurney Plaza, GSC East Coast Mall, GSC Dataran Pahlawan, MBO The Spring, TGV KLCC and TGV Sunway Pyramid.

"Avatar" promises a ground breaking 3-D experience together with other 35mm projection halls as it opens in more than 150 screens nationwide. The epic adventure begins on 17 December 2009 and eager fans can purchase their advance tickets today.

haha...actually no more choices. but id IMAX still available? if it's at IMAX, from my past experiences, if 3D is available, their 3D would be the real kinda 3D and cheaper than GSC 3D the very last time i went(which was a year ago).

if imax already closed down, the nearest would be jurong, sg. extremely faraway. haha.

When I saw AVATAR special preview a few months ago at GSC Midvalley, staff there mentioned to me, to sit nearer to screen to get better 3D viewing. If you seat at the back, can't get the best of it. laugh.gif

AVATAR 3D isn't like those 3D popping-image-to-your-face kinda of 3D. It's totally difference experience. nod.gif

I can vouch for that. Sitting nearer to the screen is better for 3D.

Can... but I recall "This Is It"... finish past 1am... then came out of the theatre, all shops closed. And then the block certain way. Dunno where the car park. OMG... like in a horror movie searching for car park. Guard also semacam oni...

That aside, night show fine, just not too late.

Please, don't let stupidity stop in the way for you to get your point across. Movies should have stopped at Metropolis or King Kong.

Maybe avatar refine its glory of a motion picture.
I dont think your going to watch Star Wars again in this decade and say that thier cgi is breath-taking. sweat.gif
Breath-taking in the 70s yes.
