Well, I am safely reach home now...

I used Gear 3 all the way to Genting (not gear3 in highway of coz)

I wanted to know, The car is not as power as my 1st batch Proton Wira 1993 tongue.gif

The Persona got no Power even through it 1,6cc
or it due to new car yet ??

About the Fuel saving... Viva save alot really smile.gif
( I know i shdn't compare Persona n Viva in fuel saving)

Well, Handling also OK OK only... sometime make a big turn in high speed, I feel the back going to drift or imbalance or unstable.

Added on December 1, 2008, 2:42 amWell,

Does the Chip Key come with the PERSONA enough for security ?

I am planning to buy Pedal Lock.. which cost me RM299
and RM1000 money back and 1 new unit of PEdal Lock..
i can't remember what brand is tat.

Ya..since some1 mentioned about Viva (600c-1L) whixh is definately Fuel Saving in City drive, lgically small mini engine. But fuel gulper in Highway so also.........dangerous when drive in highway.
This happen to my despatcher when he bought the Viva instead of the Saga/ Last 2 weeks ago..he drove to Kuala Kangsar to attend funeral & on teh way to Ipoh...his car simply flung (for no reason, suspect coz by gush of wind) & hit the divider..the small mini car was totally lost & damage. His 2 kids got flung out from the rear screen (windows close then) & one of which under ICU. The other was serious but discahrged. He as Driver was with minor injury while his wife fracture bone.

The car complete waste buy just hitting divider...this result from teh strong gush of wind & he driving at speed.

I told him..he wouldnt get into this seriousness if he were to drive Saga. Viva is not meant for highway drive. Its too light..no power. As they say..its merely a motor bike with roof. blush.gif

BTW, the much reliable brand of pedal lock suck as Locktech (Thai) will cost about RM350.00. Its double security& definately convenient then the usual steering lock.

well..i use 2 and L...3rd gear before the police block....its not no power, is because of the power dip around 2000rpm-3500rpm...where most of the time we be using this range when picking up...but the new cps engine solve completely the power dip...

Just to add to Suk's comment.

Tot the car havent even send up for 1st service..already start reving hard & forcefully run all the virgin engines & compartments real harsh, guess its gonna age quicker.
No matter of what car..it is advisable not to push one nEW VIRGIN car to the max...engine is not even fluid or at optimum performance.
I tot all manuals will advise the new owner accordingly..be it Japs or Euro car.
Rule #1 . Do not rev hard for 1st 1,000km
Rule #2 . Not to overly brake hard.
Rule #3. Car is in minimum performace during 1st 1,000km.

what is your FC when the car is new?
Other than engine tuning, what can cause a high fc?

type of engine oil u use...like u use w50 will be higher FC due to heavier than W40/W30....then, air pressure, dirty airfilter may cause high FC as well (change every 10k)...other than that is your right foot... tongue.gif
