hi all.i'm newbie here.jux get my persona 2 days ago(solid white m-line).may i join this forum?started visit this forum 2 months ago n found many useful information here.

is it all new car(before 1000km service) high FC?my persona meter show 400km now but very high FC.my 1st full tank oni can go 330km lar.meter show 8.4liter/100km.i drive manual.eat petrol like drinking water.i did not rev it n my maximum speed oso 80km/h oni.

if u go to brunei,they shell station oni sell super unleaded for 56cent(brunei dolar)
and the other things is brunei petrol have a top quality.i pump ful tank in k.k sabah(shell) go to brunei and when i arrive in brunei my car edi reach the red column(fuel meter).but when i pump a full tank in brunei(shell) to k.k my petrol still have half tank.

so our petrol might not the inter gred lar.but sell like inter price.

how if i booked my car(current price) now n the price increase when d car arrive?they will follow the old price or the new price for me?

just to share with u all here,i just installed a voltage Stabilizer n Power Device Airflow last few day then i drive a 6 hours of long distance traveling.now my fc is 6.0 liter/100km(city).last time was 7.3 liter.n long distance fc is 5.8 liter/100km now compare last time 6.9 liter /100km.

my car mileage is 2300km only

actually i installed it myself as it's easy to install.i'm form sabah so i bought it in k.k.

(1)Voltage Stabilizer(Zmax) rm45
(2)Power Device Airflow(Prowin) rm50

my car is manual iafm

haha.that 1 is for my brother's persona.coz i bought 3 of them.1 installed in my car n another 1 for my mother's prado.coz its the cheapest i found in sabah.other place sell rm68-rm99.

the air flow can maximize the air intake to your EFI n engine for more efficient burning.more air into ur engine always the better.so its will make your car more power.then u not need to press so much on the pedal.ofcoz if u keep rev ur car then u only gain more power from tat n not fuel saving.
the voltage stabilizer is for stabilize your car electric supply.as it always will be not enuf electric when the a/c is switch on n when u need to rev ur car suddenly(overtake).this stabilizer give u a better respond when u overtake.becoz its stabilize your car electric component even the plug burning system oso.
if u wan the maximum effect from the voltage stabilizer u need to install a set of ground wire.then i'm sure u can felt the different.
(1)head light more bright
(2)better burning system=better respond,fuel saving
(3)better sound quality(radio sound system)
(4)durability of battery extend
i had installed ground wire,voltage stabilizer,k&n air filter,airflow device at my kelisa(2nd car)my kelisa's battery(water based) can last for 4 years n i still using its now.my kelisa oso got 1 set of sound system like amp n woofer.....but its batery still in gd condition.
i didnt install ground wire in my persona becoz now no budget.hehe.need to upgrade it 1 by 1.

Added on June 23, 2008, 8:38 pm 4got to put my kelisa FC with all the things installed.Kelisa auto full tank can run for 485km for long distance.city driving full tank 420km.if always rev to rpm4-6 oni gain 380km.

0-30 is too thick for persona,it can't protect your engine when u in high speed or rev your engine.if can find 0-40 or 0-50 is great.0-30 is for 1000cc like kelisa.

the cheapest price i had found:

(1)ground wire=rm74,4 point(include installation fees)
(2)voltage stabilizer rm45,Zmax brand
(3)k&n air filter(if gen2 is rm320),can be wash n re-use.(wash every 50k km)
(4)airflow device rm50

wont void warranty.the air filter is expansive coz its a product from u.s n branded.100% will let u felt the different on it.

Ops!sory bro,is too thin.haha put a wrong word pula.if 0-30 i afraid can protect ur engine becoz 1.6 engine will run harder then 1000cc even u dun speed.becoz persona got 1200kg weight.and the gred at behind show the thin or thick level when the oil is in hot temp.let's say if u car is in jammed now,the temp of your engine oil will be increase very fast.
i tried use 5w-30 in my brother's toyota avanza 1.5 b4.but the mechanic not allowed to use tat oil becoz its too thin when in hot temp.he recommend at least need 40 at the back for above 1.3cc.

KL sure got place that cheaper then here coz my fren also order from KL to supply here.i can help u buy n post but only if u can trust me.hahaha.

Any 1 use magnectic fuel saver b4?can give any comment?effect o not?coz i saw many shop got sell.but i jux don't trust it will work coz jux a magnate for put at fuel hose.

Added on June 25, 2008, 1:18 amair flow device,voltage stabilizer,k&n air filter are very easy to install.just the ground wire i still cant n not dare to install it myself.coz if i install it in wrong way i afraid will damage my car's ecu.becoz ground wire is connect from battery(negative) to alternator,engine's block n.......not dare to try it.better waste rm25 ask ppl install it for safety.

inside the air filter box got a hole tat join a hose to efi.just put it in the hole n it will fix the hole size firmly.(65mm).so when u go to buy the air flow device u have to look 4 65mm size for persona.there got 3 size in market,54/55mm,65mm & 70mm.

Hi all

Any manual persona user here got a lack power in 1st gear??The others gear is ok n powerful.Just the 1st gear will be lack even i try to rev it.i had installed many things in my persona so far but just can't improve the 1st gear only.

(1)voltage stabilizer
(2)ground wire
(3)power air flow device
(4)carbon fiber air cool intake(air filter)
(5)bosch super 4 plug

Really headache about it especially when i want to speed it during at roundabout.b4 mod already lack.after mod also same for 1st gear.i mod my car coz i drive up hill very often here and need more power with the up hill road.i remember the 1st time i drove the up hill with 1st & 2nd gear b4 i mod it.now can use 3rd n 4th gear.But just the 1st gear will lack for 2 seconds b4 i can feel the power comes out.

i wonder if any pro in this forum can help to solve my problem on lack of power for my 1st gear.

Wah!change crank pulley.its a big project for me if gonna change it.then change the light cam pulley also n i can go sepang test it.hahaha.

i asked my SA b4 about tat.he told me proton will void whole car warranty if u service your car outside even after 3rd service.

Added on July 16, 2008, 7:51 pm For me its a fuel tank problem.The fuel tank is quite difficult to fill it full.i need to fill it very very full then only my fuel meter will show 'full'.Beside i need to slightly turn the petrol gun to the left side to fill it in if not sure will 'tak tak' sound only from the petrol gun.

Did any 1 changed the persona original plug to others brand plug b4?like ngk platinum,iridium,bosch super 4,or......need some feed back here.
currently using bosch super 4 for my persona now.but thinking of going to change to ngk g-power platinum coz i felt bosch super4 not stabil in my car.sometimes the car very powerful but sometimes like pijak batu more than pedal.

change it to philips bulb which is 30% brighter than a normal bulb.the color is like normal bulb but brighter than normal.can c clearer in raining day.the price is about rm16-20 per bulb.

H4 is for headlamp n H3,H2 normally for fog lamp H1 i think is for spot light.correct me if i'm wrong but i comfirm H4 is for headlamp
