anymore feedback from manual user?

Good Choice, less problem actually..
My car is doing well in gear shifting. after 1st service, i just do massive speed test at highway and also at normal road. From 4th to 3rd. 2nd to 3rd. then N to 3rd or 2nd and finally gear up at 5th at top speed. happy with that performance, just quality will be main issue with persona....

Sorry for late reply.. I don't know what about that clutch plate patah one.. but, been complaining abt the gear shifting foe 3 times, and the replies is everything OK. I don't know what else to say maa... If I put pressure to them, soo afraid the gonna screw my ride.

BTW, I love every bit of my ride. So, I just do whatever I need to do laa.. hard to engage, just step on the clutch again, and re-shift the gear. If cannot also, step on the brake till it very very slow than got engaged lorr... Wondering is it just me having this problems but, seems like some of you guys also having the shifting problems. So, can I conclude it's gearbox mechanical problem since they already adjusted my clutch which (make it lower as what they told me).

And guys, for the price I'm paying, it's worth my expectations. The ride is good. Tried 180kmj, but need to step on brake coz a new accord can't go faster than 180kmj stays on my lane @ highway. Superb and nice. Just I don't have any confidence in its braking systems. Wait another 4 years after warranty out, gonna change the braking systems or maybe change to hybrid car. If the gearbox didn't explode lerr

Yea I totally agree, normal Persona M/H-Line rims are waaay better lookin'. Thinkin of either;

1. Spraying them bright gold colour (Matte) blink.gif
2. Change to 16" brows.gif

The B-Line/SE rims are awful! cry.gif

I also feel that SE should have at least 16' rim, special edition but rim is specially more uglier than M/H line.

Hello to all proud owners of the persona. I am a new owner of persona 1.6 AT (Metal Grey) M-Line. I just got my car & really satisfied with the handling of the car.

Got some questions to ask the veterans here.

1. When the road is very bumpy, I can hear some sounds at the back of the car. It sound like klomp-klomp like that. Is it problem with the suspension or is it normal? I will be sending to SC to check on this.

2. Since I have no problem with the handling of the car, is the Stabiliser Bar necessary?

Sorry for being noob here.

Thanks.

1. That's the most common problem of Persona. The backseat latch is rubbing with the hook (metal to metal) hence the noise. you can DIY by using electrical tape to wrap the hook. just fold the back seat and you can see two hooks, 1 left and 1 right. if not, you can complain at SC and they will fix this for you.

2. persona is already equipped with a stabiliser bar (also known as anti-roll bar or ARB). or did you mean strut bar (also known as tower bar) that is fixed on the absorber top mount?

Thanks for the answer on No 1. I will try it out later then. What I mean for the Stabiliser is that it is mounted inside your engine on the absorber top mount. Is it necessary?

Thanks.
