Hello, my house have 6 AC (1 x 1.5hp, 3 x 1hp, 2 x 2hp) and 4 water heater with pump. Normally it is max to 4 AC open in sleep time. Am I need to change from single phase to 3 phases?

If instant water heater, 4 of it at max already 60 amps. If ac switch on all also 30 amps.

What is your usage pattern? And how can you make sure not all device switch on all the same time?

Hi,

For mutual benefit of the members here do you provide

- DB Service maintenance. Includes visual inspection, tighten wiring connections, mcb load checking and balancing (if necessary), RCD trip test (trip time and trip amps), cable insulation testing to Borang H format..
and submit the test results for home owners reference..

I believe some of us here are really interested as some homes have undergone renovations, additions/changes to the wiring thus a submitted test result signed by an ST competent would give peace of mind.

Reason for bulbs blowing are usually because of unstable voltage (high current thus thermal breakdown)..

The reason for unstable voltage is bad connection..

Make sure your terminals are solidly connected..

Get your wireman to check and rectify it.

If your home light have no problem but the garden light always blow out, very much got to do with weather.

The weather and temperature vary outside cause moisture and heat. Electronic thing inside the bulb like CFL or LED sure will kfc.

Walk whole jln pasar and cannot find a white cable? How about behind the jalan pasar. (Behind public Bank)

Try ACE. But sometime there have orange.

The cable should have print the manufacturing name.

If you have volume they will order for you, if loose measurement may not have. Try Ace per ozak suggest. Seapark also have many electric shop.

Quality depending what you want to use for, and the amperage you want to use. Thicker for larger amps.

Hi All,

What's the disadvantages of 3-Phase electricity?
Electricity charges are more expensive?
Confirmed kena GST irregardless of the usage level?

Thanks.

no need.
l have 5 units. 3 x 1.5, 2 x 1.

1 phase = 60¬80 amp. or total power = 240v x 60amp= 14,400watts

3 phase = 3 sets of 1 phase
so. power = 3 x more.
do your own calculation if u need to upgrade .

even if you swith on all those 6 ACs and all 4 water heater at the same time, total amp still below 70 Amp. single phase can carry up to max 100A.
