Someone explain it good enough at the last post

For that thread is talking about missing neutral from TNB sub station. Having balance spread for 3 phase within 1 house is a totally different thing.

I dont dealt much with 3 phases imbalance so my knowledge are limited on this issue. What i know is when there are too dramatic imbalance there will be problem with the substation (in some gen set it can burned due to imbalance), and other house appliances will behave funny. This usually happens if the load are very drastic different. Maybe it wont happened to your case.

Tnb did came to my mom house to switch house from one phase to another, when i ask the technician told me they need to balance it. That was when we just move in sometime ago.

Typically of course from sub station to house is good to be balance. Within inside the house, is up to us how to use. Separate the phase also give you cleaner power

In link house, how one distribute the 3 phases will impact the rest especially heavy users.

Too much in-balance will cause voltage and phase issues. is not about pay or not.

True but nothing much an end user consumer can do..

For consumer side just make sure your phase / neutral connections are solidly connected and you have a separate earthing cable (below 10 Ohms using an earth tester) for the DB.

If you have 3 phase supply to balance your loads evenly among all phases.

Its all you can do and all that is expected of the consumer..

Any single phase overloading and phase load balancing at the LV transformer side is the responsibility of the power producer i.e. your TNB..

Its out of our hands..

I was told by an electrician that if upgraded to 3-phase meter and under-utilising it, tnb will also charge extra... and I was advised by 2 separate electricians against upgrading the tnb meter unless i see the need...

Any truth to that...?

I have no idea... That's why I asked here if there's any truth to what that electrician was saying...

Right now my cablings are all done... Just a matter of changing tnb meter only...

Am 3 phase user, no extra charge. maybe they refer to extra deposit as 3 phase need to add more deposit.

Your red wire is not having high consumption.

But corroded cause high resistance at that particular length.

High consumption will trip your breaker or burn the fuse.

My wireman told me the wire at the fuse there not properly tighten. Suspect spark from there

He also say 4 AC & heater are all connected to that Red wire. Now redistribute properly to Yellow & Blue

It is not spark. But heat up for very long cause of high resistance.

Not properly tighten is also 1 of the cause.

Check all the connection for properly tighten. Even at the mcb side.

Loose connections mean high resistance, causing voltage drop, increase current drawn on appliance, this in turn increase heat build up on the loose connections (i²r)

Once a while, takeout the fuse and check the screw and connection. Check the fuse copper connection got change color or not.
