how does the new tnb meter record usage?
if l have 15 amp on 1 phase or 5 x 3 [distributed ].

on old meter, they record the peak amp used.

years ago l had fiddle with the wires in my office . manage to save 25% on bill.

Hi sifu2,

I am moving to a new condo soon. I am planning to install 4 AC. (1 x 2.0hp, 3 x 1.0hp). Should i change to 3 phases?
Thanks in advance smile.gif

no need.
l have 5 units. 3 x 1.5, 2 x 1.

1 phase = 60¬80 amp. or total power = 240v x 60amp= 14,400watts

3 phase = 3 sets of 1 phase
so. power = 3 x more.
do your own calculation if u need to upgrade .
