@JamesPond,
Instead of physically going to the store, Y don't U just pay via ur credit card through Online Banking? Most credit cards would allow such transactions to be made. |

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Jun 9 2008, 09:46 AM) @donpapachino, i think its for outstanding balance. even if they charge me 9.9% p.a, the rebate is always 1/2 than the outstanding. good for supplement card, but affin not strong whereby 0% ezy payment seldom see at shops anywhere.What kind of rebates do they give? I spend quite a bit on my CC bills but I also make full payment each month - are the rebates for those with outstanding payment or across the board? |

@JamesPond,
TNB works with Citibank Online & M2U. Am afraid I don't know if TMPoint outlets accept Credit Cards. |

@donpapachino,
It doesn't look like it's good for me then since rebates given only to outstanding balance. I see no reason in spending more to save some Thanks for the information though. |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Jun 8 2008, 02:06 PM) No offense but i really do not understand what you were trying to tell us. By the way, AMEX already have AMEX Platinum here in Malaysia for a long time. It's AMEX Platinum charge card. AMEX Platinum credit card is the new card. I am thinking of switching to Personal/Gold AMEX charge card next year. Previously cc offered by bank is only visa & master only. The AMEX charge card users is only limited to merchants only & where it shows the prestige status to the users whenever uses AMEX charge card. Somehow later bank offer the priviledge banking & platinum to selected consumer.The selected consumer is target those highly income & prestige users where AMEX targeted busineess since decade ago. With this diversified business model of banks, it affect AMEX to sustain its business with the AMEX benefits & availabilities & expensive charge to merchants. TO achieve competitive & sustainable in the market, AMEX comes out the cc & sooner it will provides lower charge & flexibilities towards it merchant. |

If my mind serves me right, TM Point only accepts Visa/Master for their own bills only at the counter. TNB cannot pay by card anywhere, cash only. Astro not sure, as I still have not installed yet Anyone did this on TM point b4? I went to Clickers at SS6 and TMPoint at D'sara Jaya, that was 2-3 yrs ago. Citibank CC can use to pay TNB online. Using M2u, TNB is cash only. FYI, MBB Visa CC gives 2x TP for TM bills. |

QUOTE(JamesPond @ Jun 9 2008, 01:41 PM) Thanks for the answer... i was agreed with what David83 mention. 1 quick question....M2U credit card accept TNB bill? Added on June 9, 2008, 1:45 pm You mean TM point accept credit card for TNB and ASTRO? TM point, accept CC on TM bills. TNB bills need to go to kedai tenaga. for MBB CC, cant reply u, waits others to reply. btw, previously i have done my auto debits on TNB bills which is my landlord name, and u just need to fill in the form n submit at kedai tenaga. tht's if u plan to stay long in ur house. i thinks, when u have saving account n credit card online together, the bank is preferable you pay using the saving account, not the CC. same thing happened with my HSBC online banking. i cant use my HSBC CC online banking to pay the bills but have to use the saving account. |

@vin_ann,
I'm still using Citibank cause haven't decided which new bank to move my CC spending too so until I do, I guess I'm gonna remain 'loyal' to Citibank |
