Yeah the 901 is the one I am after! Where abouts did you get yours? Does anyone know places which have stock at the minute or is it still a little while away?

Mainly does anyone know a reputable dealer where I can go and buy one in KL, getting the best price!

Any help is much appreciated

Regards
Dave

Dave,

As far as I know it is not yet available here but base on info limited stock maybe available soon. I got mine in HK and was ship over via FedEX. So you see I am paying a premium.

Good luck on your shopping.

Let me clarify,

There is no 910 nor is there any 901 with 30GB SSD or HDD. Currently the 901 only comes in 2 flavours which is 901 XP Home with 12GB SSD and the 901 Linux with 20GB SSD. Both split to 4GB / 8GB SSD or 4GB / 16GB SSD.

eh...malu! that's a typo there...i meant to say 901. blush.gif

Hi,

This is a great link that give you a VERY DETAIL guide how to nlite Windows XP SP2 to an install size of only 411MB. Should be very useful for 901 users because the OS drive is on the 4GB SSD. You will easily gain about 800MB. This should be interesting. Click on the link below.

Hi.
I'm on vacation in South East Asia, and tomorrow is my last day in Kuala Lumpur before going to Thailand.
Hoping to see the 901 model in Low Yat before I leave.

If not, a 900 could be interesting to buy.
I saw the 900 model with 30 GB harddrive in the stores at Low Yat yesterday.
Does anybody know what kind of hard drive is in this version? SSD? 4+26GB?
Could it be possible to open the computer and change this disk to 2.5'' 320GB?
I was offered prices from 1599 to 1899 Ringit for this computer in different stores.

PS!
In Norway, where I'm from, the 701 has not reached the stores yet. It has been delayed many times already.
It should be in the stores very soon at the price of equal to 1430 Ringit. The 900 version with linux 16GB will come to the stores at same time at price equal to 1480 Ringit. blink.gif

@jackdon since we can make the XP installation file become smaller, can we put it into a thumbdrive instead of using an external cdrom to install XP? I dont have an external cd-rom drive currently and wanted to try out XP on my 4G Eee Pc
