@jackdon since we can make the XP installation file become smaller, can we put it into a thumbdrive instead of using an external cdrom to install XP? I dont have an external cd-rom drive currently and wanted to try out XP on my 4G Eee Pc

hie guys,
anyone found a durable + suitable bag for the 701?
i try to look for those dicota bags but all seems to be too big, i need something like a sling bag with enough space for the 701 + the power cable. Kinda hard to find huh.

yeah thats what i'm looking for! nice and classy bag which fit in the asus eeepc's!
where did you get it?
i'm thinking of selling my 701 and upgrade it to 901 if there is any stock available in LYP, the batery life on 701 is not that great + the smaller screen but i'm happy using it now.

i'm using 701 with 512mb ram installed with nlite Windows XP, MSN Messenger, Adobe Acrobat reader & AVG free edition, klite codec pack, brought a 8gb Kingston SDHC from PC Fair for movies and mp3 and it is working great, keeping everthing to the minimal surely helps
one question if i upgrade the ram will it voids the warranty? and which brand of ram is compatible? planned to get Kingston 1 or 2 gb ram
