Actually i'm much interested in 1000H as it supports 80gb HDD, but at the same time i'm also interested in 901 bcoz of the weight, but 901 the HD capacity is small, so i'm left  rclxub.gif

These notebooks are meant to replace a normal laptop >_>

the 3 netbooks you mention all have the same type of proc all of them can't do video conversion and gaming performance from spec wise is about the same

p2p and video streaming depends on your internet speed

the eee comes with a larger capacity battery...

its easier to type on the wind but it just takes some getting use to on the eee

*
i want to get both =X ( made a deal with a friend to buy off my aao while im waiting for the 901 to be available since i've already ordered my aao )

just got tempted by the battery life on the 901 but if acer release a battery before i get the 901 i'll just stick to the aao

QUOTE(jackdon @ Jul 22 2008, 05:37 PM)
techchuan,

There seems to be a lot of confusion on the 720P and the 1024P. As far as I know these rating are base on lines rather than pixel. My Samsung 42" Plasma is rated as a 1024P HD certified professional display and yet the display resolution is only 1024 x 768.

The best test is to download Microsoft HD showcase preview each is about 150MB to 300MB. The have 720P and 1024P and those 720P I wnload as to test runs without any frame drop but the 1024 you definately see that the eeePC 901 struggling to play.

So you should not have any issue playing on the 901 as long as you do not have disk space issue  blink.gif . So another +  to get a 901 smile.gif

1080p or 1024p ?

dulu i tried playing 720p anime on my 701 pun boleh but have to oc the 701's proc to 900mhz

edit: owh yah i just remembered, i got to try out the diamondville ( same atom proc on the 901 ) processor on the intel desktop board. it can't handle 1080p too much processing power needed

But the performance of this processor is questionable. The superPI for this processor is lower than celeron M 900.
