Not so fast lah, dual.. Atom chips are in short supply to the demands in netbooks. maybe next year lah.

i need help connecting my 701 to my samsung LCD TV using VGA cable. when i connect the cable on both ends and press the fn+f5, nothing happen.

do i need to install additional driver?
my 701 was previously linux but i installed the n-lite win xp. i may have removed the driver during xp installation. but now i dont know how to chk if the driver is there.

could all the sifus here shed some light on me. thanks

how big is your tv?? its not a prob if connect to a crt monitor

i have the solution, right click on desktop, select Display output to CRT(VGA)

my tv is 32"
is there any limit on the tv size for vga connection? noob here

i wanna install language pack to support chinese characters while browsing web... but i dun have the win xp installation disc with the 901 bundle...

yes. the recovery cd have windows, but you cant add additional languages file through it.
i think its possible for you to do that through reformat/reinstall windows and set to install the language files during installation.

or you can find a copy of windows xp home from either borrowing it or whatever and install it using that. it wont ask for any serials if i'm not mistaken.

for me? when i reformat my windows to xp pro, i add the language files as well.

Im currently using 1000h running on XP, and i just tried to update my EEE using the AsusUpdate installed.

After restarting and updating it, i dunno why always got the message comes out,

"Block BIOS Update ver0.26 bla bla bla"

It says something about either my eeerom or hardware version too old. Anyone knows a solution to this?

did anybody know how to fix my keyboard,, i cnt increase the light fn+f4 is not working...amg i cn slow down the sound.. it just muting it self..like f7 is the same as f8, must i reformat or is there something else i cn do
