Any 904HD users here? Like some feedback from you guys who use this model. I notice mostly are 1000H users here.

Excuse me, I was wondering I'm going to get Asus Eee 1000h PC soon, & I have the budget around RM2,500 since the notebook it self cost RM1,999 I was thinking what should I do with the extra RM 501 ? Should I get an external hard drive which cost RM 350 or upgrade the Ram 2 GB [ Price Unknown Could someone tell me how much it is? ]

i think do both is the best... 2GB ram + external HDD.

Upgrading RAM + the hard disk should be within your budget.

I think around 100-150. Dont remember how much exactly, but it was around that amount I replaced mine.

Less people will go for 904 model because of the celeron processor.


Actually, Asus Eee 1000H will cost you RM 1999 + RM 50 (2gb ram) =RM 2049.
Left RM451.
One 320HDD will costly you around RM280.
Left RM 171.

Thanks for your reply. In the end I decided to go for 900 instead due to compact size. Well its solely for my wife so it doesn't matter if its celeron or atom. Just small size will do.

Just wondering is there a 6 cell battery for 900 model? If got where can I get one here locally?

hmm..usd750 included postage?? kinda expensive le.. i read that it should be cheaper than n10...cos is under eee pc range... if i am not mistaken.. maybe just wait till msia got stock lor..

Does it work like normal PC/Laptop?

You can install vista, but this kind of laptops works best with xp.

and like any game and pc/laptop, you will need to compare the spec and game requirements.
