yes, if you leave your laptop there for sometime until the lcd screen shuts off = standby. However, if i close all my applications with only relevant background processes its called idling right? correct me if i'm wrong.

google for iAtkos. Im using iAtkos v2, its a torrent file + jack sparrow, so cant link it. Last time graphic drivers ok, need to check again. bluetooth ok, wifi ko, external monitor ko, usb ok, sound ko

Well the 8400gs will only have problems provided you play a lot of games for long hours. If you're just into some graphics... autocad.. then it's alright.

atm, I install linux(ubuntu) and vista. dual boot.
if u r lazy enough to torrent the ubuntu iso, just ask them to send to you. it free smile.gif

u can try search in the garage area..some ppl sell much more cheaper then in the dell website..still with the same spec n warranty..no need to wait also

Well, beware those ppl who sell in garage sales, 90% of it are refurbished set. So if you really regret cannot get refund or return back to dell. Try to find those ppl who stated that BRAND NEW SET,NOT REFURBISHED. Ask them whether it is a refurbished set or not before you buy from them.
