Square U-bolts are hard to find, steel band has sharp edges, both not suitable, I have lost my wits and finally like what you say.. wire mesh and cable ties..

So far that's the simplest and easiest.

And yet still on the lookout for better.

tamed 1 wont really bite..
if they have teenage problems like mine they bite.. bleed..
u wont feel much pain.. like ant bite.. but if bite on some softer part of ur body than pain..
but not all will bite unless u act like a threat to them..

oh yea.. this happened once yesterday when i put my finger near the cage Joey tried to bite me.. than when i feed them yogurt Joey will stick his hand out to grab my finger from in-cage.. than lick the yogurt.. is this a good thing or bad thing?

i reply based from experience ah, not from what's been told all over the internet..

as for hand feeding (fingers), i'm not really into this..
i only use dipped fingers with yogurt or such for wild & unfriendly gliders.. so that they won't runaway from you and to gain trust..

feeding gliders with fingers from my perspective will lead them to be more interested to your fingers and they'll tend to aim your finger whenever you try to pick them up.. and of course they'll bite...

as for the question is it a good or bad thing, i would say that's nothing bad man...

hamster bites are different with glider's...

hamsters will peel off your skin summore and it makes it so pain...

gliders are more like a needle prick.. haha!

so nothing much to worry about if they are tame ones..
