Yes, "inside our shirt" does mean bare skin....
At first, it was quite unbearable but you'll get used to their tiny sharp nails after a while...
Cut their nails or invest in a nail-o-matic...

You guys are great ler to do this. I will try again.

The nails are super sharp, that's why when run over the body, the skin like... got red red. My hands look like got cut even when they just walked passed (not bite / nip).

That's why regular trimming is necessary.

If I find their nails to sharp for me to handle, I will not allow them to roam on me until I have them trimmed.

If not, after that sure pain also, especially when you shower

If you do not want to suffer, you must learn how to trim it yourself, or get the nail-o-matic or send them for nail trimming(I heard they have this service...)

Yea they have the nail trimming services for RM10. Nail O' Matic is actually.. a sand paper is it? What is it? How it works? Will it cut too deeply if I never take it out from the Wodent Wheel?

Nail-o-matic is some sort of sand paper type thingy. But a specially made one so we cannot simply DIY using normal sand paper.

You're supposed to leave it in the WW for 2-3 days only. It sorta trims little by little when they run in it.

NO, you cannot leave it forever in the WW, even more than the few days can cause their nails to over trim, what more if you leave it terus...

Use as advised only.

It would be easier if someone has 2 WW...

I find it easier to trim their nails myself as and when needed

My arms and necks are covered with scratches hahaha.... I think it just takes some time to get used to the feeling. Anyway, can always drop by at Pet Shack for nail trimming. Or meet me there, I also can do hahahah.

My God, today I brought my gliders out to my sister's room to play. Both of their nails are so long that if you try to carry them and they're unwilling to let go of the shirt, the shirt will tear. So long, so sharp that a single layer of cotton t-shirt also can feel the nails very pointy that I had to wear two t-shirts!.

Anyway, I played with them, got tired and laid on the room floor. I notice one thing, gliders love "highest point", so if your knee is bent, they will climb up there. If you put your feet up against the wall, they will climb up there (and mine bite my toes!)

We had a fun time and I brought them out for night walk at 9:30pm when I walk my dog for their potty hour.

Here are some poison for your eyes and is it normal that gliders have two... antenna above their eyes? It's like feelers~


Luna was picking out my dead-skins but curi curi pee-d on my knee while Moka hides.


Moka looks like she has cock-eye but then she's cute! Dont know why but Moka is more tame than Luna. If following the checklist from Hun's blog, I think she fit all criteria except the fact that she cannot let us carry willingly, sure got some struggling.

Their nails are pretty pricky, esp for people who are unacquainted with nail trimming.

As for my suggies, they can't bear even few seconds to let me trim their nails for good, so i allow them to be vampire.

Looks like nail-o-matic derives its name from the fact it's "otomatik" nail trimmer.

At first i thought it was a nail clipper in ignorance when mentioned. Far from it, now i know it's a running track for their WW, sugar glider's manual treadmill.

Would hope to hear more feedbacks from those using it.

I certainly would get one to try!

My cage project is finally going very smoothly since the last few weeks, and still ongoing, after so many times gagal...

Now i can see clearly the whole stucture now and it makes me a bit speechless..

Why? Cuz the problem is that i have only 2 small lil suggies and gonna be living in such huge realm..

Then i will need to call out to them "Hello suggies, where are you, i can't see you?" haha..

Nonetheless, they will LOVE it!

nailomatic doesnt seems working for me..i even exceed their 2day recommended day,but my glider's nail is still sharp..i went for 3days..maybe she doesnt run much..

then i trim her nail myself..will try again on nailomatic this few days..her claw is getting sharp already

Male sugar gliders tend to be larger (115-160g) than females (100-135g).

Is that the case for everybody's gliders?

I have never encountered such phenomenon before as those noise came from a type of large crickets, bigger than my finger..which stayed on tree..

This happened because "there was no sugar glider presence there"..

If my gliders are there, surely their presence will ensure the demise of these pests !

Such as the demise of Christmas beetle due to the presence of gliders in Australian forest..
