QUOTE(Moonflown @ Jun 10 2008, 06:26 PM) Actually, if you wanna sell, now's the right time. There's a new policy now where users MUST sign up for a contract on the spot in the US. That means no more take-home-unlock-instead-of-activate trick. So there's a demand for the 1st gen iPhone. I think there are some going for US$4-500 on ebay. So if wanna sell, better be quick.. |

QUOTE(limyusiong @ Jun 10 2008, 06:34 PM) ha?like tat we got no chance to get 3g iphone to malaysia????abang irwan, plz bring it to malaysia!!! We should see some 3G iPhone's here because Australia are going to release the 3G iPhone on prepaid and there should be unlocked 3G iPhones in Europe because of the EU trade laws but the price would be higher. Also, there was this guy in garage sales who claims he has connections with ATT in US and can get unlocked 3G iPhone's so we'll see. When it comes to selling 1st Gen iPhone though, I think now is the best time: a) might be some people on ebay who still dunno about 3G iPhone yet b) US users who don't wanna be tied down to an ATT contract would want to go for the 1st gen iPhone instead. |

QUOTE(chianping @ Jun 10 2008, 06:32 PM) simple, because either no telco interested to carry the iphone in malaysia,or apple is not interested in malaysia at all, or both fail to reach agreement.Added on June 10, 2008, 7:58 pm QUOTE(shaznizzle @ Jun 10 2008, 06:46 PM) I think Malaysia very high class.... iPhone is not up to standards la.... in term of internet connectivity and some promising applications and development, iphone is really up to the par.No video calls, no Bluetooth 2.0, still 2MP camera, etc... Malaysia deserve better phone.. hehehehe.. applications like ebay, medical software and company specific softwares are highly used in those countries they are developed for. and not to mention the wifi hopping, which isn't really available in malaysia. malaysia is lack of facilities and utilization for iphone. QUOTE(zc_squash @ Jun 10 2008, 07:32 PM) yeah... but still telcos MAY have the rights to lock the iphone to their own network.... it also depends on the contract between telcos and apple, and we dont really know wats the contract like.. so, just assume that anything may still happen, even the pricing.. even tho steve jobs said that the 8GB models will be priced at USD199 max, globally.. but the telcos can still manipulate their figures on their plans so that they dont lose as much..This post has been edited by jakesean: Jun 10 2008, 08:01 PM |
