Europe is selling unsubsidized iPhone 3G 8GB at 549 Euros. which is RM2,765.14.

That price not include the fee to bring it here...

In other words, RM3K++ for your iPhone 3G.

i think for those distributer here , they might straight bring it in through US which mean just straight forward and not translation in between Euro or Pound etc .
So for those who couldn't get sweet grape and keep saying it's sour in taste keke .

Wouldn't it more expensive? Have to go through Europe->US->Malaysia?

i think it's all speculation. I'm looking forward to july 11 to see how it goes.

guess u miss out some words call "backdoor" this always happen in business .

the only way for you to get the mentioned price (yes, this is in reference to all you naive and silly individuals) is to have someone (and potentially ruin his/her credit rating) or have yourself travel all the way there on pretext to sign up a contract. (even so, they will require some short of identification or address as a proof)


otherwise, you just have to rely on dodgy sellers who God knows what illegal methods that they have installed ahead; using the mentioned technique or purchase straight from the factory etc. that will eventually jack the prices up to a skyrocketing level instead of the wah-so-darn-cheap-the-8gb-iphone-for-only-$199?

I agree what you've said... If they use their special way to bring out the 3G versions, I seriously do not think it will still be sold at $199. They will sure charge more for the effort. How much for the effort? Ask yourself this question if you are the seller. If I am the one who got "lubang" I sure charge $249 or maybe even $299...
