Cydia can't add sources .... yet. This is because the way they handle sources is different from installer. They use the Debian apt-get. But later in the developement, they will include the feature. Its ok to use cydia and installer together as there is no conflict between those two. Cydia is more to the System tools ported from Debian and caters more to developers and advance users. Installer is more prefered by most user because of the usability.

BTW u can 'add' more source in Cydia by installing new repositories under the Repositories category.

Hope that helps.

Actually Repository = Source. Like I said ... Cydia handles sources (repo) differently from installer. If u look in the Repositories categoty, u can find another 2 repo from iPhone Stuff and iPhone Surge. The main repo (or u may call Community source in installer) is from ModMyiFone, BigBoss, Ste, ZodTTD and Telesphoreo (main one). The concept are the same but the way they work is different.

Mine is set at 40 sec, but I also edit the ringtone so that I can use the best part of the song, chorus or whatever you fancy.

ha. previously was using the old method that i use for my mobile phones, cutting out the chorus with mp3 cutter, then convert to m4a > m4r, rather tedious. last nite i tried using the itunes to convert it. wah, way more easier, ooh, i can set it more than 30sec, but i try to stay lower than 40sec, all worked. but one thing i dun like about it is that we can't fade in and out for the beginning and end, but ok lah. haha.,.. wat to expect.

reason i want it more than 30sec for some is that some songs, the chorus is long mah, and if i cut it w/n that 30sec, it stopped suddenly, not nice. haha.

hi guys, i'm sure some of u are familiar with this app called SMSD smile.gif I had my phone upgraded to 1.1.4 some months ago and had this app installed flawlessly without much probs from the repo.sosiphone.com source. One thing i didn't check those months ago was that the SMS backup to email function doesn't work! Do any of u know the workaround for this? Or is there a better app out there to backup all those precious SMSes of urs? Don't flame me ya, cos I did google but can't seem to find a solution sad.gif
