What a question, maybe you don't know how iPod or iPhone works and that's why Apple is really encouraging their users to just put their Macs or iPods to sleep. In this case, iPhone or iPod touch needs to boot up the OS so it might decrease the battery usage even lower cause it use full CPU power when booting up the phone's OS. What's really stack up, the apps that we run and close with just 1 second on the Home button, might accumulate the memory and might cause our phone to maybe restart by itself just like what fuiyo said due to excessive memory consumption.

This phone is different than others so all I'm asking is it a safe practise to turn off completely and turn back on again rather than just turn off the radio by Airplane mode and to sleep, it's not good to turn on phone's radio all the time.

Is it just me or does the new version of Installer refreshes sources much faster now?...hmmm

Do you guy test before sound quality between ipod,iTouch and iPhone?

is iTouch sound quality = iPhone?
And by using original ear pieces,do u guys feel that the quality is very poor?

My friend compare his samsung mp3 player with my iPhone, iPhone sound quality is very very poor.

they sound the same to me~
both my iphone 3g and iPod Touch original earphone remains untouched in the box.

and please, it is call iPod Touch, ITouch just sounds stupid....I believe u will not call other iPods : iClassic, iShuffle or iNano rite 

Yes, it needs some sort of connection. The connection is needed to render the background maps, otherwise you have nothing to refer to. Also, Wifi gives only the most general of location, and may not be accurate at all, EDGE improves on that, 3G is the best. Pinpoint location is provided by GPS, and a network connection of any kind is needed to download the background map.
