They bite or try to bite if I want to pick them up from the 'nest'. I have to resort to use a baby feeding bottle to scoop them up to my palm.
When they are in my palm, they never bite la. Just sniffing around trying to find an escape route or try to jump down to their home.

I bought a sieve (strainer) to filter their shit from the bathing sand.

After kana bite for so many times, bite till non-stop bleeding.

Now I use that sieve to scoop them up. No bite bite until now.

crazymouse_yyh mentioned that those mini hamsters sold in Ikano is this breed (of course it was just a assumption cos at that time i didn't have any pics). If its WW how come it bites?

It has the profile of RC wor!

well.... if u get ur hammy from petshops most of them will bite no matter wat species coz they've gone thru such a timid period thru the transportation n rough handler. u need more time to tame them. just be more patient n sure 1 day they wont bite 1. last time my 1st syrian also bought from petshop n he bite me until all my fingers bleed... i've used almost 1 month+ to tame him n now he can let me kacau anytime n play anystyle also wont bite me dy. laugh.gif

before you feed, do gutload them first. Can gutload with oats and vege smile.gif

As for feeding them for the first time, try snapping off the head, squeezed out the insides and offer the juice to your hammie smile.gif
