Doesnt hv in petshop.. buy it @ aquarium shop. Buy rm1 or rm2 would do. Ur mum cant notice 1. dun worry 

yea, mealworms do attract ants very well. just put ur mealworm tupperware on a plate with water then will be ok dy. Hammy will get very pretty after eat mealworm yor, my hammies all like to eat. hehe...

    I'm afraid of mealworms also but I did fed them with it, they are like eating abalone for chinese people. Grab and chew then swallow.      Of cos I use small plastic forceps and not hand. I also 'tear' the head off using the forceps by holding tight with the tip of forceps    

Those who want forceps can ask from me, I can collect from my work place and give it to you especially ladies who are like me You can really see the size different with hamster who eat mealworms and those without.

Actually not in a rush to get mealworms le. Just saw that everyone started talking about it then wanted to try lo hehe. If not convenient then it's ok

before you feed, do gutload them first. Can gutload with oats and vege

As for feeding them for the first time, try snapping off the head, squeezed out the insides and offer the juice to your hammie

Not every hamster like mealworms. Need to introduce a few times before they really eat mealworms. Change your bedding, don't use newspaper. Gut load with veggies and dry catfood.

Don't worry. You got the forceps mah. Can use that to squeeze the head flat. try feed them during their makan time.

I meant the bedding for the mealworms... coz if the mealworms eat the newspaper and your hamster eat the mealworms... poison loh. That's toxic!

If you feed the mealworms to your hamsters or any animal without letting the mealworms to eat nutritional things, then it is plain worthless to feed mealworms. You want your hamster to get high protein and high nutrition. So you of course need to feed the mealworms with veggie and high protein food like dried cat food. You have to let them gut load 24 to 48 hours before feeding to any pets.

My hammie called Popeye, didn't want to try the mealworm until I have to cut of mealworm's head to let the juice out(very juicy o.o). Tried to let Popeye eat for another one without cutting off the head, and he loves it. Ohohoho 

The 'who' is Blurjoey la. He told me is 90 days. I don't wanna my house full of beetles, so scary...     Not going to breed those wormies also.

angel, paiseh la, i lazy to find back the post. yalor, beetles r more geli than mealworms... imagine all of them flying around in ur house!!!  aiyak... i cannot tahan dy, think of it make me feel itchy... scratching dy...

Hahahaha..... Ya lor.... I'll scream and run for my live as I always feel those flying insects always aimed to my face when they fly.
