sweat.gif  sweat.gif  sweat.gif I'm afraid of mealworms also but I did fed them with it, they are like eating abalone for chinese people. Grab and chew then swallow.  sweat.gif  sweat.gif  sweat.gif Of cos I use small plastic forceps and not hand. I also 'tear' the head off using the forceps by holding tight with the tip of forceps thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif

Those who want forceps can ask from me, I can collect from my work place and give it to you especially ladies who are like me icon_idea.gif You can really see the size different with hamster who eat mealworms and those without.

LOL laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif I don't tear off their heads but crush with the plastic forceps only. My older hammy JackJack have no problem eating it, but my babies dunno whats that and dunno how to enjoy in the first place, so I crush the head and let them smell the juices coming out from inside the 'body', so they know its good food and start eating.

Yeah... I saw them last Saturday when I went to Pet Shack. Those babies I saw one month ago now are so chubby already. Just like my JackJack in smaller size. I's so tempted to bring all of them home. My cousin sister also bought one from that batch, but the size so different compare to those still with Joan. Really a good hamster feeder, all hamster fat fat.... rclxms.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif Those who want fat fat chubby Syrian, please go Pet Shack.... icon_idea.gif icon_idea.gif

oO stay still is impossible. But u wanna pay with it with ur hands then possible. Just let ur hamster walk from ur left hand to right hand. Then right hand to left hand, just repeat the steps. It's like a ladder, and can even make ur hamster become more intimate.

U r very wrong Cloud9, ur hamster wouldn't die of boring. But human does, dont apply in hamsters. Hamsters love plc in a solo. Where they got their territory by their own, without other hamsters occupied their territory.
Furthermore, ur hamster is syrian rite? Syrians r solitary hamster. They will be very very happy if could be plc alone. They wouldnt be boring, sad, etc.

I got 2 escapeee hammies not too long ago.

1st hammies try to climb up the curtain to return to the cage after 2 days.

2nd hammies I found him not too far away under some bags from the cage after 1 day.

Maybe you can try to search around like within 10ft radius from the cage.

Good luck.
