Our console always become a Multimedia Player as long as my wife say it's not coming out from her allowance and she can watch her TV Shows from either consoles she don't care. hehehe ....

My children are pretty excited cuz the ps3 controller is small and light comparing to Xbox. He are very happy with it. But in the other hand I'm having trouble adapting it

Anyway, if the polls are any indication, with the interest in the console with no ability to play backup copies , it would seem that interest in original goods are on the rise. This can mean good things.

there is a few point you guys forgot about, ever wonder why ps3 comes with large hard disk compare to xbox360? games like Lost Planet for PS3, u need to freaking install the game for 10-15mins about 4gb & this is not the only game u need to do that.

oh btw how many of you guys who owned ps3 can afford or would buy blue-ray movie? that the movie title is not new? how many of you with ps3 here owns a LCD TV 1080p 40 inch above? yes games comes in blue-ray disk, how many games on market can even fill up a DVD9 at the moment? other than those RPG games with lots of movie. so for games that comes in Blue-ray disk im very sure its more than half empty, or with lots of rubbish extra trailers.

sometimes i think features for the console does not play a big part in it. even for xbox360 if it comes with HD-DVD drive how many of you would buy movie in HD?

heheh point well made. it's afford though, not effort. Even my family only has a 32 inch HDTV. Mom says pic too big also not nice. Don't get me started on how TV stations here don't even broadcast in HD format yet. Picture quality even in astro looks like we're viewing Youtube videos in 16:9 aspect ratio. I haven't bought a single Blu-ray movie yet. It's the games that matter to me.

So this means it's a good thing all ps3 units come with a hdd eh ? Even microsoft says the future is in DLC when HD DVD lost the format war, BD is supposedly shortlived but yet some of their SKUs don't even have a hdd.

for me console is for gaming 90%... bd/hd mmm i dont think of those much since i rarely watch movie... but i like the xb funtion where i can isten to my mp3 when gaming.. hehhe nice feature indeed... why only can vote 1 not both... both console have differences so getting both is the best aahahahaha.. i have xb but no hdtv only using monitor for the job and i already satisfy. hahaha... hope if i get ps3 also can hok it with my monitor...

not that i cant afford all above, its just that i have lots of games & no time, i buy every single game for xbox360 even games i dont play. as a working person, i dont even have enough time to play every game i bought , lets not talk about watching movies on console... lets say even i have a ps3 now with me, no point playing games thats already on 360. that makes my 2nd unit console a standby console with exclusive games only. what a waste. talk about Blue-ray movie.. i go cinema every week, watch every bloody movie that interest me. so with added features like watching movies from consoles is useless to me, even songs like mp3, ill rather listen them on my huge play list of songs on PC with 5.1 surround speaker >.> . or with a ipod....

get what i mean? comparison for this 2 console is still based on how the user looks at. things like the power adaptor/power cable. who on earth cares about the weight & size of that? when its placed there i dont even give a damn until the damn thing died.

i spend around 2 hours average a day for gaming if i have time

i know consoles can do alot now, but compare the movie resolution on a xbox360/ps3 with hi-fi/PC with WinDVD & nvidia purevideo codec, i can tell its a big different. even both runs on HDMI. yes console does have alot of features, but for most ppl its just added feature. example with an handphone, every 1 goes for new model new feature, how many ppl here with a 3g phone is using 3g? how many 3g line owner use video call?

not all games are original, that im honest with it, but i do buy original games to support them if the game is nice after playing the (ahem) copies. forza2, pgr3 & a few more others. all still sealed not open yet. infact this is my 3rd unit of xbox360, talk about 3rod..

well ps3 for me only 2 games that interest me, metal gear solid series and FF series. there is chances that metal gear would be coming over to 360, & Square has started creating games for 360, not FF series. Mistwalker for 360 is also good. Lost Odyssey, Enchanted arms, blue dragon, eternal sonata few more that i cant recalled of. last revenant would be next i guess..

wow...u still buy x360 meh. Buy Ps3 la. My x360 also got RROD once also, but repaired ade.(cost me RM250). If RROD again i am not going to repair it again jor. Btw, i also own a pS3 and wii.
