nice handling,spekers but i hate,the brek,if press little doesn't feel like braking,must press a bit dalam.a bit hard to see blind spot
and there no place to put a coins.

no actually ,for me the pros is the handling and speakers.the break no place to put coins and others are the cons but i can't make a good review since this is my 1st car,i nver drive any other car except myvi but i feel swift handling is good

Speakers are bad, at least I prefer Myvi ones to it, but I've got used to it. Sound insolation on the roof is bad, like in atap house during rain but otherwise ok.

What do you mean speakers are bad? I found Swift one to have better clarity compare to stock Myvi speakers.

I wish they make the manual version of 1.5 Swift. Not everybody like driving auto transmission cars...They do make the manual version of the Swift Sport 1.6...but that is more expensive at RM 100k.

Heard about the zinc-like roof too. It's a persistent complaint by Swift owners. Guess that would be the first area I amy consider to sound proof

i've just found spec for swift 1.5L acceleration with youtube as proof, 0-100km only 10+seconds! faster than many other japanese 1.5L.
that could be a manual version though. simply unbelievable, despite the lower engine torque and bhp.

The interest for new swift is 2.88% up to the end of July at least.

i agree on the roof, sounds like atap when raining. -.-'' about the speakers it is decent, but too muddy to me

i already drove my swift a few times in the rain, no complaint about the roof. but i do feel i i need to change the speakers, and HU just got its first error while trying to read the cd.

already drove long distance, so far i got 13.5 km/l, city driving around 12.9-13km/l. just the matter of time to visit the SC for my first 1000km service

My Swift is about two weeks old and the fuel consumption is TERRIBLE at the moment. I guess the engine hasn't run-in yet but I'm getting about 10-11km/l for now. Hopefully this will improve after I done my 1000km service.

Also I'm looking for an aux cable. I saw one at Brothers accessories shop but it's RM18 and a lil too long. I hate cables and would like to keep it as short as possible to keep it tidy.

contrary to popular believe, in modern engines, even after thousands of miles travelled, fuel consumption will not improve significantly.
if best FC is what you are after, stay away from this car. not saying the fc is bad, but it is not among the best.

The roof does sound like zinc when it is raining. I am too young too drive (1 more years to get lesen) but i do ride the Swift to school every day. I love its looks and there is not much of it. The one in my house is an early CKD example (Febuary 08).
