my gf told me Suzuki will be launchin a new model in comin Sep as advertised in our local newspaper today. Price from RM48k. Not so sure which newspaper but certainly will check it out for more details later as am working at the moment.

So, will it be new 2011 Swift rplcment or Alto? RM48k for Swift 1.2L?

i asked the SA earlier this year... its a 1.0L model and definitely won't be swift cos it's schedule to launch only on Oct during the Paris motor show

guys any idea where i can get Suzuki Swift Hikari, Sport or Scrit bodykits?

Since many say it's 1.0l, should be Alto.

The upcoming swift will be categorized as 2(or more) variants. Quite sure there will be one with 1.2L engine, for that one the price must be lower.
Wondering how much the 1.2L ones will be priced.

hopefully at least RM10k cut from current model. Otherwise not competitive

paultan's site said 1.2 for petrol and 1.3 for diesel. I think if it is priced around Altis range, it's ridiculous.

Altis' price? That would quite overpriced for a little fellow like the Swift, eh?

Question is, will Malaysia be getting the same variants available abroad? I think there's a 1.3L engine for current Swift too but this is not sold in Malaysia.

every car maker is increasing price, look at the facelifted B segments Vios (RM2-3k) and City (not even facelift but increased RM500)... i wonder what gave you the idea that a whole new swift will be sold at a lower price... some moreRM10k lower

I was at Queensbay Mall some time back and the salesman told me a few months back that its a small / compact car...

The size is gonna be like the Viva or i10...

should be alto then
