just got my new swift today. cant rev it!!! have to drive sooo slowly.. why is it feel sooo underpower? after first service do i feel any difference that i can rev? nowadays im driving below 2700rpm only and below 100kph.

Wait your car's engine to run-in first la, so fast new engine wanna rev already ah?

haha.. dunno ma.. my first car. seeing those swift passing me very fast very geram. then my fren said must wait till 1st service then only starting to rev..

now driving like snail.. bus and lorry all cursing me like mad

the car's acceleration is memang slow ... but its max speed is very stable .. can go up to 170km/h ..

hmm...just to note to some of the owners here, the first service should be 1000km, 2nd service 5000km, third service 10000km.
4th service and so on will be after 10000km intervals.

(this applies to CKD units, not sure about CBUs)

the acceleration is actually slow for the auto and the gearbox is quite sucky....is not a car that u would want to drive fast....cornering isnt stable either...quite a lot of bodyroll....my sis suzuki swift after 1st service somemore produces smell from the aircond vents when i rev it hard...dont know wtf is wrong

yeah.. acceleration quite slow.. cornering stable!!!!! who say not stable.. i quite like the cornering of the car. suspension is good. tyre , bridgestone potenza made in japan!! soft tyre good!! hahaa.

about the smell, my car has it too, haven go first service but for the first 500km , i got that smell all the time so i go slow and steady. now about 900 km, the smell hardly come out already. will go for my first service this week and see how it goes.


oh blardy my car just got hit by a BUS!!!!!!!!!! got loud BANG by it! damm sakit hati. only 9 days old kena bang already.. haih.. luckly only number plate crack. replace a new 1 then ok. no scratch or dent.

recently, i found my swift FC is very high!!!RM60 can onli travel for 190km (town driving)...cost me around RM0.31/km!!!

yeah.. me too. i tot it will be very low FC. but then my full tank rm 120 , can only last me 460km. Rm80 can only last me probably about 325km.

want to buy new car..
