I second this. Very fun for limited, seems balanced. Can't wait for us to start drafting it!

Red & green does seem to benefit quite a bit.

For limited, I find that B/R, R/G, G/W are all pretty good.

I tried B/W but it's very difficult cos the colour requirements are not friendly - I made a mistake of trying to force all the rare bombs on opposite sides and struggled.

I heard Fendi had the coolest combo. Something to do with some card that puts a -1/-1 counter when a creature with a -1/-1 counter goes to the graveyard, and he put a pinger on wither creature...

In pre-con, it's not Foil Angel included, foil Angel have much higher collector value compare with other foils.

If as you said the Twillight Shepherd is worth RM10 only, then here I willing to pay RM 15 to buy it, unlimited amount, who has it, I take it.

not sure is it fendi though...
my board got wipe out this way (my urchin has 2 -1/-1 and 2 2/1 creatures inplay lol)...

RG is super fun to play aggro with and my WG deck got a perfect oppening vs karry: -
turn 1: maniac
turn 2: the 2/2 persist thingy
turn 3: the 3/4 vigilance thingy
turn 4: enchant the 3/4 to 5/6 vigilance flying indestructable lol...

still most memorable was 7/4 trample dbl striker for 14 damage lol...

i find blue the poorest colour for limited...
white has the untap tap thingy which is annoying!

overall: 3-1, 2-2, 3-1, 2-2 lol

Added on April 21, 2008, 9:48 ambtw got 4 raking, 3 maniac, 4 javelin so my deck is pretty much compelted lol...

opened 2 sunken ruins (1foil), 1 GW, 1 RG, 1 WU land...
this time was lucky to get lands though no vexing and jz got 1 fulminator mage...

evo, i think i was so lucky when i played against you

i basically was the underdog, and you almost decimated me with your fast starts (3 Ashenmoore Ghouls!).

Luckily, i lost only when we were playing for fun. I still was in a daze as to how I managed to recover. Very nice build.

props to Fong for teaching me the power of Fate Transfer!!! That's like my best card ever! I did all sorts of nifty tricks, like blocking with a Recap, fate transferring the counter onto it, then the Persistent recap comes back to smack one more time.

I never got to try the Fate Transfer with the Grief Tyrant though.

One thing I like about Pre-releases though. Having friendly judges like Fong around to help build your deck The guy is amazing. He sees combos, etc. He rebuilt the decks, tweaked my manacurves, help me test it etc.

besides prerelease is jz for fun (8k tournament) so i had fun in the match and its all that matters...

still remember losing at 22 life to my opponent at 1 life lol...
if i enchant and whack i would have won T.T

Actually, come to think of it, you would have won if you didn't mis-play the Incremental Blight when there were only 2 targets on the board. I would have casted the 3rd creature very likely as I knew I was so vulnerable to you (I was only at 5 life at that time, I think).

But because of the mis-play, I knew the Incremental Blight was stuck in your hand so I made sure I didn't go to 3 creatures. That really changed the game.

But yeah, it was fun. I enjoyed this pre-release even when I was getting smacked around with all sorts of creatures. I saw all sorts of decks. A lot of my games were all 2-1. It was nice to see weenies, big fatties, etc. The only thing I didn't get to experience was an opposing mill-ing deck. I saw someone mill a guy till 3 cards left in the library!!!

i must admit pre releases are way fun . It was fun getting thrashed to Fendy`s killer combo haha . Pretty nifty combo . I Feel RB is really strong in the sealed enviroment . though the GW is not bad either

Yeah prerelease was damn fun... abit tiring but lots of fun... best prerelease ive ever played and i think i improved abit... consistent win of 3-1 in all matches

but I... lost my folder of new cards... all lorwyn to shadowmore gone.... Im pretty in a bad mood now...

yeah i lost my white box as well. had some stuff in it with my name on the box. But doubt ill ever see it again. Didnt realise its loss till 5am 2day

Good god, that's terrible!!! Someone lost his folder of cards, left it on the table where I was buying / selling cards. Someone was going to take it away, but luckily I recognised the cards (he labelled some prices in it) as belonging to someone else, so I managed to find the owner. The owner didn't even realise it was missing (he thought it was in his backpack).
