the prerelease mania sucked ;(

Faeries dominated the meta.. but faeries wasnt much of a problem for my deck. Round 1 paired with the guy who got 1st in the final swiss round standings, transmute deck. Nothing much to say, his ancestral visions and card advantage just beat me down, 0-2. Round 2, Jason Yap, faeries. Went 2-0, game 2 topdecked a siege gang with him tapped out at 7 life. Round 3 Tommy (rdw), frustrating. Game 1 land screw, game 2 made a huge mistake, letting him threaten my cloudtresher and stomp me with it and 2 huge crushers. Round 4 paired with Melvyn i think? (faeries). Game 1 he got land screwed, g2 i had the perfect anti-faeie hand (cloudtresher, 2 sulfurous blast, many many burns), 2-0. Round 5 was a mirror match (Kuo Jian), 2-1. Game 1 got trashed, G2 and G3 won with land-d. Round 6 James Jude (rdw), 2-0. Game 1 played 3 primals, g2 primaled before he cast manabarbs, and took 5 to get a cloudtresher in play. overall performance, 4-2 ;(

Yup i was running mana ramp, Justin i didnt get the decklist, but it was U/G/b, using tolaria west to transmute out slaughter pacts/pact of negation/urborg whenever needed. He ran goyfs and tombstalker, with cryptic commands, rune snag and some other stuff, cant really recall. His deck should be up in deckcheck soon, since he made top8. Have to wait for them to post up the lists

surprisingly i had good matchups against both faerie games yesterday, and lost to rdw and transmute

so who's going for the prerelease?

notice that persist works well with mannequin?

The only format ran in malaysia is standard constructed, limited, or block >_> sigh

post shadowmoor deck strength seems biased towards R/G/w and not that much on blue/black :S

its an awful lot of fun for limited..but as i said, it seems biased towards red and green for constructed. Not much money bombs so far though..

limited is fun with shadowmoor...but constructed.. ;S not much improvement, other than the great amount of sb cards red got lotsa nice goodies..flame javelin, redcap, maniac, burn trail...

killer combos.. i had a fantastic one myself none of you guys saw it. it was with elemental mastery and the untap(+2+2) equipment. i slapped both on a 3/3, tapped first time produce 3, untap, tapped second time, produce 5, untap and tapped third time producing 7, swing with 15 1/1 counters

shared account one minute could be him, another could be her but i think most of the time, its melvyn posting in here.

to me..the untap ability seems kinda underwhelming.. besides the occasional "oh shit i forgot" factor yeah in my first session day1 i had a massive pool of r/g powerhouses.. TWO of the 2/3 goblin duo, a javelin and burn trail, deus, runes of deus, giantbaiting (takes out a chunk of opponent's life), the 3cc global burn, and elemental mastery. also minor black splash for tyrannize and cinderbones..most memorable matches were the one with 15 1/1 tokens, and the one where i beat uzair with 1 life.

yeah, coz it's still new mostly..it's only useful in terms of creating combat tricks. order of whiteclay+goldenglow moth is freaking annoying !

just in, May's FNM card will be Pendelhaven.
