Meaning? I'm just warning you guys to work hard if going for form 6. Work hard for 1 and a half year and enjoy your whole life or enjoy 1.5 year and suffer for the rest of your life...... Your choice. Now, fortunately, I still can at least have an ok future.

@ysh_kobe:U remind me of myself and my friends !!!
The problem with me is that I failed to concentrate in class just because the weather was too hot(I was sleepy all the time)and I hated my teachers VERY much.As a result I skipped school a lot(at least two days in a week,no action was taken against me)Like u my old school doesn't offer form 6 classes thus we had to tansfer to another school. There were less than 50 Science students that year.Imagine being in a learning environment with no competitiveless, lambat laun I was getting lazy and overconfident.I knew I was getting in trouble yet I kept telling myself that everything would turn out okay after I failed my Chemistry for the n-th times.I started to realise that I was running out of time in May07,only then I started work my butt of to do notes. At that time i should have been doing all the lower six chapters' revisions.I lost my faith and I nearly gave up.I kept telling myself that "u can't give up.This is the only and long-waited chance for u to score a scolarship to study overseas.U can't afford to screw it up.U have to keep studying no matter how tired u are.If not u are going to regret it once the result is released because u don't try your best. The guilt is going to drive u insane."I had to keep telling myself that everyday until I finished my Physics paper. The best thing I have ever done was getting a Chemistry tuition teacher though.
So the lesson is don't wait till last minute!!! the time passes tooo fast. Before u realise the STPM is just around the corner. Now I can't wait to attend uni.I told myself that this time i will try super hard. Not gonna let internet ruin my second chance.

To be honest I skipped a lot of the kokurikulum activities because I was too exhausted after school.I only scored 5.3 while most of my friends scored more than 7 marks each of them. *shrugs* We are supposed to join like three(badan beruniform, kelab, sukan)It almost took up three days in a week while I still needed to take tuition at night !!!

lol.. yeah, never think that 1st year is the honey moon year.. you will regret on this concept..
last time, i was in big mistake.. my 1st year... (ah.. those good old days..) everyday attend classes, then when teacher start to give notes, i fall asleep... after class, all my friends went to tuition, especially subject for PA and fizik. I didn't join them.. i tot 'nian.. probably i join them later coz STPM only next year wat'..
and my result for exam (school's exam), 'haiz... i just 'ngam ngam' pass some of the subjects but failed the rest of the subjects'... then ok, time flies.. i just realize, "oh no, it's feb.. and i have the trial exam in next 2 months...' so i quickly went to the 'Yakin' for PA and (just remember this tuition centre)'KITA' for fizik.. and i felt so regret.. coz i had missed a lot..
although i didn't get good result for my STPM, but i learned quite a lot fizik theory from Mr Huan (lol, the another thread remind his name), which is quite useful for my degree.

I mean the way you wrote about your life. Never heard of what a paragraphy is?

The way to live during F6 pretty much depend on yourself. You choose what you do all the time lol. No restriction. No homework. No coursework.
You'll come across with busy and easy people at school.

You need to be disciplined and have the initiative to pick up the studies on your own. Instill some part of you wishing to explore the depth of science. Solving crazy questions and problems.
I find watching science movies fking motivating lol.
Series like CSI will motivate you to study chemistry.
"A Beautiful Mind" will drive you to study Physics and Math lol.

My F6 life wasn't near any point to hectic. Part of the reasons was because i read Physics syllabus on my own during the holidays in lower 6. It really relieved me alot .I learn to keep everything in balance. I just kept in mind what my goals were. Set deadline for myself to complete my homework and exercise. For most of the time, i don't do homework during weekdays at all lol and onced never touched math for a month . But i can spam myself with questions and exercise at weekends for 5 hours straight ahead. And i never touched PA essays at all. sweat.gif

The constant work you should put on is Math, and the science. PA last minute still can save lol.

If you're the smart type, ignore the easy questions and jump to the harder ones. You can save your time .Smart people can go through F6 relatively easier.
If you're not, make sure you can solve all the typical questions. Nailing these will get you near to A.
And Whether you're smart or not smart, drill yourself for the typical exam questions before the final exam to make sure 0 mistakes done during the paper.

What can I do?My STPM result wasn't excellent at all, loads of ppl do better than me and they deserve the scolarships more than I do.I have learnt my lesson.I can always postpone my plan to study overseas. The right and only I could do now is equip myself with knowledge so that I am fully prepared to compete with ppl globally

For STPM the easiest paper is PA, I didnt read, never pay attention in PA class, no tuition, didnt do any PA homework and I still got an A. I did not know what graph it was in STPM so I just hantam any graph I learned in Form 5 maths inside. The best part I scribbled through the essay and writing questions I can't even read some of my own writing.
The subjects that I pay much attention to, did not get me anywhere especially maths, I couldn't do half the paper and only manage a B-. Whereas Biology which I did more questions than needed also did not help me I just got a B. Chemistry I remember there were 2 killer essay questions, most people got tricked and answered it wrongly, I am lucky I have seen that type of questions before and did not fall into the trap but still my structured part sucked so I only manage a B+.
