That was quite fast compared to me and my sister. like my sister redemption due to invoke block is 31st March 2022 until now no extra cash credited.

QUOTE(Asyraf Iskandar @ May 5 2022, 10:01 AM) Hi guys, I am new in this forum I am currently doing ASBF since 2019 with RM70k loan with max tenure installment (35 years) On 1st April 2022, I went to CIMB bank and request for termination and last week before raya got follow up with the officer and she said I got shortfalls and bank cannot close my ASB account yet. I need to pay the amount of shortfalls first. Btw, my sister also terminated her ASBF and got no issues since we both taking the same bank at the same time. someone can clarify this? Any of you taking moratorium?

You can't use the ASB loan to buy anything. The mony is locked with the certificate.

Probably he already got cash RM160K, instead of keeping cash in ASB, he use it to pay house cash. Then take ASB loan, pay instalment for ASB loan instead of house loan. The catch is his ASB still generating dividend.
