I tried to link my paypal account with my new Public Bank Day2Day VISA card which is linked to my bank account. According to Paypal website, my card will be charged RM10.

After that, I checked my bank account online. The amount on hold is RM15 instead of RM10. Why is this? I never use my card anywhere before.

its only keep the RM15 in your paypal account when u link new card to paypal.something like reload Rm15 into your paypal account

instead of in your card, it's now in paypal.

why all the fuss over rm5

Paypal should mention RM15 instead of RM10 in their website. Lets wait for a few days and see whether my paypal account balance is RM10 or RM15.

Case closed. Is RM10. For the remaining RM5 on hold, later I may call PB to ask what is that.

i have an ebay transcation cancelled and ebay has refunded the money to my paypal account.
However my CC has been charged.

How do i get the money from paypal to offset the charges in my CC?

I have US$200 & 100Euro in my Paypal account but I need to buy something online and use Paypal for payment, the item is US$290. In this case can I use my paypal's balance which total amount (US+Euro) is more than US$290? Or I only can use US$200 and Paypal charges my credit card US$90 for the payment? Any idea? Thanks.

Yes you can,it's just like how to verify a normal debit card..it's the same way as credit card verification.

i think there's an option to convert all ur money to usd(for example)you can manage it in your paypal aacount..i once have GBP and USD in the same time..and can set the money back all in USD

Your case is different from mars1069..he have 2 type of currency in his account..while in your case,if your paypal account is linked to your cimb card,you can do it in manage account in your paypal..or..you might to sell it to someone else who really need GBP..but of course,you can't sell it in here..

You have to open a paypal a/c first then go to profile and add/edit credit card
